For poop and giggles what would be the game you would want to be the only win??

I'm sure some know mine. BEAT the MFing Eagles in Philly.

 

The Eagles seem to have our number whether at home or away!

 

Whichever team is the eventual SB winner.


If this team goes 1-16, we'll be having another HC search in the spring.

 

We would get Arch. Probably best thing that could ever happen long term. 1 horrible year to be a contender for a decade. Instead we will go 9-8

 

No. We won’t. For as much as some people here ***** and moan about AR2 he’s no dummy. A revolving carousel of head coaches is how you end up like the browns/jets etc

 

I remember in 1969 when the Steelers won their opener over the Lions and then lost the next 13 games to finish 1-13. But that terrible record got us Bradshaw the next season.

 

IMO little unfair we have to play in Philly again. I know it has something to do with the 17 game schedule but when it was 16 games we only played there every 8 years. I know we beat them in 2012 in the Burgh but I think last time in Philly was in the 60's.

Happy to say I saw us beat them in Philly but it was a pre-season game in the 70's. Joe Green was a rookie and saw are Steeler jerseys and gave a great wave to us.

Well, if Rodgers got hurt in the first game and was out for the season then possible. Otherwise, impossible. Too much talent.

I remember in 2003 when Steelers went 6-10 and were able to draft Ben Roethlisberger the next spring. The rest is history with 2 Lombardi trophies.

I’m not even sure we play them this year but I need to see the Steelers beat NE for the rest of my life. I hate them scumbags with or without dirt bag Belicheat!

 

I wasn't watching then so I had to look it up. They only won 2 games the year before, so what did you expect??

 

We beat them last year, and we play them the 2nd game this year

 

I remember them going 6-10 in 99, and 7- 9 in 98, and we didn't draft Ben, and we got no SBs

 

If they only won 1 game, I'd want them to beat Cincy, just to have to deal with less of the bandwagon Cincy fans around where I live.

 

I’m surrounded by Bengals fans where I live but we all get along. My son wants me to take him to the night game and I told him I won’t surround myself with those drunk idiots for a night game. 1 pm game I’m fine with. 4:30 pm not an issue. 8:30 pm forget about it.

 

In a vacuum, Browns or Ravens. The best feeling might be giving the Bengals or Ravens a loss that keeps them out of the playoffs. That would be beautiful. I am not sure there are correct answers outside the AFCN.

 

Been to a couple Steelers games in Cincy. One time, I went with some Bengals fans and tailgated with them. Got to meet their starting guard Mike Goff after the game (I was 11, so it was a pretty friendly meeting), good guy. The Bengals were bad that year. Most recent Steelers/Bengals game I went to was the game where Le'Veon tore his ACL in Pittsburgh. Total bummer. Would love to go to a game this year. Going to be in Tampa for work the week after the Steelers play there. Might try to head a day early and snag a ticket before my work trip starts. Would be fun.

 

I do work with a lot of Bengals fans, and we get along great. But they do go overboard a little sometimes. At least one of them admitted that they go overboard b/c historically, they aren't used to beating the Steelers very often.

 

1-16 would be awful. I dont think even a win against the eagles would make me feel even slightly better.
