I will be worried if we lose to the Falcons week one. I don't think we will, in fact I've bet we won't.
Hell we've won opening games almost every year in the last 10 years. The only losses came to 49ers, and NE.

And their QB sucks. This seems like an easy win for the Steelers.

 

We are beating the Falcons. I am in 11 suicide polls (most small) and I picked Steelers in 5. Jacksonville the other 6.

Should Jacksonville get upset around 70% of participants will be out after week 1 in all polls I entered.

 

Bijon is the real deal, Not sure of Falcons QB situation. Hopefully Steelers handle this team.

Vegas thinks so much of the Steelers that they have us as 3 point favorites against the Falcons. Yikes. That's basically saying the teams are even and we get the home field nudge.

 

according to the internet that i read this morning, 3 point favorites win 57% of the time.

 

I wont be worried at all if the Steelers lose. To me, this is a really good roster with 3 major concerns going into week 1.

This has been another preseason where more effort was put into evaluating guys who are now selling insurance, than preparing the starters to gain experience playing together as units. So even if the Steelers were to lose, I think this team will be playing considerably better football week 3 and beyond, once all the kinks get worked out. Just my 2 cents.

 

When was the last time Vegas won predicting the over/under for wins for the Steelers.

 

Being retired I watch hours of NFL talk on TV every day. Sometimes days go by without hearing the Steelers being mentioned. According to the talking heads on TV the Steelers are just another middling team like the Falcons or Saints that they don't even consider a playoff contender and not worth talking about.

Their running back is a legitimate top-3 guy in the NFL. That’s not the problem. The problem is the quarterback is awful and the receivers are poor. Our defense is going to feast on them.
