2027 HOF ballot

Its not crazy to me at all. He had the way better Qbs than either of them his whole NFL career. Stafford is very good ,but he wasn't Ben, and don't get me started with J. Jones Qb

 

Matt Ryan and Stafford won a MVP at some point of their career,so they were very good QB too

You just admitted they weren't as good as Ben, and what did I say.? Ben was the better Qb, and so even though you just admitted you agreed, you are arguing anyway. LoL.

 

You downplay AB because he had Ben....But Ryan and Stafford were also very good!

Next time you'll give some credit to AB for his peak from 2013-2018, it'll be the first time. I guess Gronk wasn't that great because he had Brady for his whole career, same for Rice with Montana and Steve Young.Make no sense

 

Why would Cam Newton even be considered?

 

Looking at this site, Roethlisberger is below the average hall of famer. I could see him not being a first ballot inductee.

After more research, Fouts, Moon, Aikman, and Kelly were all 1st ballot. Roethlisberger is ranked above all those. It may come down to Peterson's or Ben's misconduct being overlooked.

 

He is rated by this site as the 15th best QB of all time. There are 13 QB's in the HOF that are rated below him including Bradshaw. What skews the 110 rating to be the average is Tom Brady being rated well above 200 points.

 

allow me to point out that the Steelers under consideration for the HOF did it legitimately and were not cheating like the Patriots. The payment from secondary sources to keep Tom Brady's cap number low, BB's videotaping, etc.

Here's what happened to the Clippers when they were caught cheating on the cap with Kwahi Leonard......should have been done to the lousy stinkin' Patriots. (no I'm not still mad at those frickin' P.O.S. a**hole Patriots.)

Ben and AB will not both get in at the same time. AB will probably not see the HoF due to all the nonsense.

 

With the Seniors category eliminated a guy like LC Greenwood will probably never get voted in.

I look at that list and just too many variables. Fouts and Moon had staggering numbers for their day, Aikman has 3 SB's and then we have Kelly 4 straight AFC championships, 4 straight SB games and 4 straight losses in there to go with huge numbers. So hard to tell what will sway them. Ben has two rings, 3 SB appearances and numbers to go with but tarnished the shield

 

I'm not sure maybe due to Belichick getting screwed.

 

So essentially, the Pro Football HOF reduced the number of selectors to half yet have three alternatives?! What type of sense does that make?! Either reduce it by half or don't. Stop adding in needless "exceptions."


Moreover to the point, there still is no accountability either. Who TF cares if the voters are not from the market of their teams; something that screams and reeks of bias anyways. The entire board should have gotten a massive overhaul; complete wholesale purge.


The Pro Football HOF both overcorrected and didn't correct anything. Steve Tasker, L.C. Greenwood and others lose even more due to this.
