The only problem I have with our wr corps is AB,ES, and JC are all the same kind of reciever, all about the same height.... I would rather cut Cotchery and have a 6'5 option that has show good things than have 3 of the same wrs trying to get open. With Wheaton taking the top off with AB and sanders going middle.. our 4th option ( if the TE stays in to block) needs to be bigger and taller than the db's covering him.. ala why Boldin was so good for baltimore... throw it up and just be taller... why we are missing Plax to a degree

The Steelers won their last 2 Superbowls with smaller receivers, it would be nice to have a 6'5 receiver Moye but come on he has as much chance of being a starter as you and I. If Moye makes the team he will be the 5th receiver and he has been going against 2nd and 3rd string defenses.

He's not gonna start if he makes the team. Mike Wallace didn't even start in his first year.

He wont start if he makes the team, be strictly special teams guy for the most part. But I bet we could see him occasionally in when we are inside the redzone with his height. Moye, Paulson or Heath makes pretty nice targets for Ben with their size. If Moye doesnt make the 53, he unfortunately will for another team as I cant see him making it to our practice squad

Wallace didnt start...but he was #3.....one of the reasons I think Sweed regressed.....Ill never forget Arians publicly apologizing to Sweed saying "Kind of forgot about you" When Wallace got all the snaps but like two in the first game of the season.

that being said...No way does Moye need to start....but I sure would like to see a few packages that might feature him....10 snaps a game.....redzone...etc.

Yeah, I would keep him too as our #5.

I do see him on an NFL team.

I like what we've seen from Moye. He plays with a lot of heart, and that's the kind of thing we need in abundance.

The only point I'd pick you up on, xcodixxlex, is that we're missing Plax. I'm not sure you can say a guy who played a bit part in 3-odd games last season is being missed at this point.

With our RB &TE injury situation, I think we only go with 4 WR. Sad, because I would love to keep Moye Around, but I doubt he is a great ST'er.

I get your thinking but we can't afford to loose both Moye and J. Brown. This may be Cotchery's final year and we may not be able to re-sign Sanders.

Maybe Moye can be the next Wes Welker??? Welker was on 2 different teams before he found a home in New England. One of his teams was the Fins and that's who had Moye last year on their PS. He must be a really hard worker because we've released him from our ps a couple of times haven't we?

i think people might be under estimating how good this kid can be. im not saying bench AB and Sanders, but i think Moye can do some things that those guys cant do. i hope if he makes the team they find a way to use him.

He's not a starter, he's the 5th receiver. Glad he made it though.
