The NFL has eliminated the Pro Bowl games

    Big surprise but this is a great news...No more thing like Sanders with a pro bowl selection and several other backup selection

    No Alternates..... I like the sound of that.


    I think I still prefer my Pro Bowl to be 1 regular game in Hawaii after the season.

    The pro bowl was eliminated about 30 years ago when it basically became two hand touch and nobody really trying anyways. This just made it official.

    I was in Hawaii when they were building the stadium for it. It was a pretty big deal for the locals.

    I remember the NFC RB's being upset with Jack Lambert in a Pro Bowl close to 50 years ago. Lambert played liked he always did. Mean, surly and laying big hits on whoever had the ball.
