I am going to assume you know what you are talking about because you were there, and I know you have a little history with Stadium Field Conditions.

I thought the field looked good on Friday, and the announcers spent a little time talking about the new field and how good it looked.

Have reporters asked players how it played?

That is a good question. I have not seen anything where a reporter asked a player what they thought of the new field.

Being a golfer who played all over the country I just about threw up when I heard the word "Bermuda" because of it's dormancy in cold weather. But ....... I don't have a clue about this strain of grass they say holds up well in cold weather. I'm guessing we'll have an idea in about 6 weeks.

Pre fake id days we used to pickup hitchhikers when we were teenagers and tell them we will take them wherever they need to go if they buy us Beer. It worked every time.

We just walked up to the local winos , and said we'd buy them whatever if they'd go get what we wanted

That works too. Sometimes they would take our money though and never come back out of the bar. That was always the risk.

Agreed. After the 1st time it happened, we would keep someone on the back, or side doors at the liquor stores. We never did it at bars , or taverns, just liquor stores

That's how me and my friends got a Stroh's 30 pack in the summer of '86. The bum wanted 4 out of the 30... so it was good deal. First time I ever got drunk... hot Strohs around the campfire, camping out. Puked after about 5. :lolol:

It was our go-to until we were old enough that one of us could but I bet I drank more before I could buy than after I was legal. LoL

We had a neighborhood guy we called KO because he wasn't OK
We were nice to him but we could reliably send him into the bar or liquor store and usually get something like what you asked for then we would give him a few bucks

We also had another old guy who was a few bricks shy of a load named Nunzio. He rolled his own cigarettes really well. He would gladly roll a whole bunch for us if we gave him the papers and bag of "tobacco" ;)

This is bringing back memories from a millennium or two ago

We had a local tranny long before that was popular. My dad was the local doctor and took care of him without judgement. Soon thereafter my dad became the doctor for all of the north side trannys.

The middle of the Buffalo field doesn’t look good right now

Maybe that is just how grass looks at the end of a football game

I hitchhiked all over Northwestern Pennsylvania. I had to hitchhike home from football practice 9 miles every night out in the boonies. Ended up walking/ jogging a lot of the time

    I hitchhiked to Maine once

Met a lot of interesting people

I spent half a day trying to get west on 80 and promised my self I would never pass up a hitchhiker and I never have

I think in PA it might be illegal now

I would do wilderness camping ( no cigars or alcohol too heavy) and after multiple weeks I poped out on a gravel road in northern Ontario about 40 km from my car. My friend and I who had not shaved or properly bathed for weeks were hitching. A lady in a van with two little kids picked us up and drove us to our car. Apparently up there you just do that.
After that we packed everything in our car and went down the road to see two equally weathered campers hitchhiking. One of them said we didn’t have enough room. My buddy growled just get in. We drove them right to the front door of their home in Toronto.

    Last one on hitchhiking

I had a guy pick me up in Massachusetts once who had a funny laugh like Danny Devito

He said he was on the way to the hospital because his doctor recommended he be “admitted”

After I got out I found out he actually said “committed” and friends informed me the hospital was a psychiatric hospital

Anyone notice the Bills' field during today's preseason game? Looked like ruts and divots all over the place.

I admire the commitment to nature, but those days are over for me.
