Go back and watch again. The safety read Howard's eyes and was already breaking on the ball before Howard threw it. With a stronger throw it might have been completed. Wilson drifting only aggravated the situation.

It sucks because he looks like an athletic dude. Is it between the ears with this guy? Is it coaching? Frustrating it seems he makes dumb mistakes a lot.

Why does it seem many promising players are failing? Was the draft stock position overrated? If so many are wrong then.

Bernard clearly has it over Wilson. He's going to show to be a good pick. You keep Skowronik and Wetjen (dude needs to protect the ball better. Work on this in practice with carry drills.)

I think it's clear you get rid of Wilson unless you keep 6 WR

 

Wait for the vet cuts on roster cutdowns. Wilson will be easily replaced.

 

That's exactly the kind of vet that can replace a 4th string WR.

 

Their is no "vs". Mason will be the #2 and Howard is buying a stairway to the practice squad.

I can't see them keeping 4 QB's.

Giving Allar reps with players that are going to actually be on the roster is what I want to see, Howard gets the 2nd half.

I wouldn't be against this happening.

Wilson should see a lot of reps on Thursday night to ice a decision what to do with him.

Also Bernard needs reps as well. Hopefully he can take the #3 spot.

 

Trade him to the Chargers so he can play with his old college coach Harbaugh .

 

It's concerning going into year 3 and Roman still can't run his routes correctly .

 

This is a byproduct of a poorly run route. If Wilson squares that route off and takes the 6-10 yard gain, the pass isnt in the air as long and the defender cant jump the pass. Wilson's poor route was directly responsible for the pick. Now maybe Howard with a little more experience doesnt attempt that throw and the interception doesnt happen, but lets give the QB a break, this is only his 2nd game of action in the NFL and I know he will learn from it, the kid has a good head on his shoulders.

Dude that same exact concept is run in college by the D. Let's not act like he hasn't seen it before. As soon as I seen where he was throwing it, I was like nooooo.

 

People need to watch the play, and stop listening to what people are saying.

 

DHB has been working out and is planning a comeback...lol also AB has been getting in shape..

 

Fix the route and worst case this is an incomplete pass, this is not on Howard except for the fact that he was the one who threw the ball. If Wilson runs the right route ( doesnt drift down field ) by squaring off the crossing route, this is first and goal. Yes Howard gets the int, but the receiver was in the wrong area and ran a horrendous route.

 

Is why he will not play with AR .. No need to keep him he will not get to play.. He is simply a back yard style WR ..He will never be a good route runner , he needs a system of after the play breaks down the scramble drill as it is , so he can use his athletic ability...

I wish him the best , but it's best for all involved to move on at this point..
