Sorry but the OL wasn't that bad last year, not even close to the stuff we seen last two preseason games

Did someone piss in your wheaties today?

    You are unusually grumpy.

I think you should become a fan of whatever team Tomlin brings down next. He will need all the excuse artists he can get.:smiley1:

Im grumpy because a whole bunch of people that don't actually understand what they are looking at has told me how much better having a coaching staff that actually knew how to scheme, and develop players would make our team, and I just watched my team that I root for look worse than I remember seeing them in a very long time.
For your Information I didn't like Tomlin anymore than I did Cowher, of Noll, but I do have eyes, and a brain, and I know bull$hit when I see , and hear it.

Usually, when a whole bunch of people tell you the same thing it's usually true.

There are people who think the world is flat, and they get a lot of push back too:smiley1:

No really. You do know that there are more dumb people in the world than smart, and Im not talking about degrees.
Lots of people thought there were witches, and they burned them. Lot of people thought the Jews should be eradicated, lots of people thought people should be slaves, lots of people thought changing your clothes, and hair makes you a woman, or a man, see where Im going here??? Never mistake popular thought with the truth.

No you just go with popular opinions because we know that correct. LoL.
See what Popular opinions are doing to California, and New York, but hey, its popular opinion. LoL

You are the one who said ....well if most people believe something it must be correct. LoL.

No, here is exactly what I'm saying. When I was in the service I was apparently a stubborn hard driving prick and a master sergeant, who I will forever be indebted to, took me aside and said "son, if the whole world has to be wrong in order for you to be right, you may want to rethink your position"

I hope you're more right than I am re: OL.

I agree re: Max, but if he can't play because he's injured there's not much we can do. And it's tough for a raw rookie to miss so much of camp and still make a meaningful contribution during the season IMO. But I think RT is a big question mark on this team, so maybe he still ends up being the best optoin.

I'm all for playing Washington as much as we can. I think he's a matchup nightmare. And I'd rather have him (or PF) on the field over Wilson in many situations. But if we get behind, I think it's more and more likely that we'll move to more 11. And I think MM plays mostly 11 anyway...even though I think our team has been built to play more 12. Because Washington and Muth are better than our WR3 IMO. But at least we should have a WR2 this year...which is a huge step up IMO.

Frazier is very good. Outside of him, the best that I can say about any of our other offensive linemen is that two of them zhave proven they can play at least average NFL ball and have potential to become good (Fautanu and McCormick). Other than the long term potential of Max and Dunk, what do we really have behind those 3 starters? The rest are backups at best, and in a little over 3 weeks we have to field a starting 5. Yikes….

And I know he’s a bottom of the roster guy, so I’m not terribly worried about him, but Jack Driscoll may be the absolute worst tackle currently on an NFL roster.

I think if the Steelers would have put a lawn chair at LT instead of Driscoll it would have worked out better. One of the Jet defenders might have tripped over the lawn chair.

How many people have told you that Tomlin was an above average NFL head coach?
