Correction: I like Kaleb Johnson's chances of not making the team. :icon e wink:

Guy has shown next to nothing in games and he must be even worse in practices to have fallen that far down the ladder.

Steelers have a few backups that at least look respectable. I would not be disappointed to see one of them make the roster over KJ.

I went to the mat for him when we had Trubisky, and Pickett as our starters. Was I wrong?? I have never thought he was better than Old Wilson, or Old Rodgers, but I did think he was better than Trubisky, and Pickett, and I believe history of that year proved I was correct. Hes an experienced backup , and outside of when Trubisky, and Pickett was here, thats all I wanted him to be.

I assume you actually didn't watch then. LoL.
He only threw the exact same routes as he did here, I knew exactly when he was taking off running, and they couldn't even get any points until he came out. Looked exactly the same here.

The chiefs were also flag happy in that game.....I would wait before the regular season before jumping to the conclusion if he plays but he will likely not play if Mahomes is healthy and ready

    They were pretty flag happy.
I guess you didn't see the video of Fields having fumbling problems with the snaps at practice. Funny he has this problem everywhere he goes, and yet people still make excuses for him.

With Max still out with a sore neck, Broderick Jones is getting 1st team reps at RT.

I liked the way Broderick Jones looked at RT his rookie year. The running game seemed to improve when Broderick Jones came in his rookie year at RT.

Money is better at LT so Im going to say he will prefer to stay as a LT when pressed.

Funny. I would say that Starter money is better than Backup money, but on this team right now you never know. :)

Ramon Foster used to tell guys that were either swing tackles or being asked to go from left to right that staying at LT was the best move the better paying choice. Look at what Moore got in free agency and how ridiculous it seemed.

Kaboly said this was the worst training camp ever.
The guy from DKSports said talking to other media members they preferred Tomlin's camp with the tackling, we will see if McCarthy's approach produce better results.

The tackling was good in the first presseason game

It might not mean much but it's probably boring for the media to cover, and not that exciting for fans to watch when all they do is a walk through at practice.

How is my favorite Tight End doing? Mount Washington. He is a bruiser and with that height I'm hoping to see a lot from him this season.

I don't think he has been involved in the offense that much from the sound of it.

Hearing so many good things about this guy, draft night didnt go as planned but it could very well end up being much better for the Steelers. If both Max and Germie shine we’ll be thanking the Eagles. Which by the way, Lemon isnt even practicing, nursing an injury.

Props to @AskQuestionsLater@AskQuestionsLater and @S.T.D@S.T.D and anyone else pimping Germie.

Let's just hope that Rodgers sees it that way.
I like Rodgers, but him , and rookies don't mix too often.

I don’t remember who said it but someone predicted Washingtons targets will actually go down this year. Makes sense, Arthur Smith favored TE sets and now there are also better WR’s this year. Plus Muth is expected to be highlighted out of the TE’s.

Yeah, we might not really get to see it until year two. Even Davante Adams took time to be featured when he played with Rodgers as a rookie.

Two things. First off, thank you for the shout out. Much appreciated. :drinks:

Second?! We need to compare Max Iheanachor to Makai Lemon; not Germie Bernard vs Makai Lemon. I understand the appeal; both Receivers that Pittsburgh showed interest in during the draft cycle. Remember though that Makai was going to be a Steeler until Philly traded up with Dallas to snag him. Pittsburgh opted for Max instead.

Fair or not, both Max and Makai are forever linked in one of the more infamous draft day events in recent NFL Draft History. Have to see how their careers turn out. Then and only then can both fan bases receive a definitive answer.

It’s the two for 1 so to speak that I am talking about. Landing two players we needed as opposed to Lemon and then however the 2nd pick would have played out. I like Max a lot better than the other options in rd 2 and if Germie is a stud, all the better.

Ah. I see. Didn't catch that. Thought you were directly comparing Bernard and Lemon.

    My mistake! :hi:
