    Sad for him. I don't wish him bad, but any GM that watched him play in college, and thought he was worth a 1st round pick/ the 4th overall needs to be fired. He was a project, and that's too high for a project. I wish him the best.

    Two things can be true here. The first is that no one fan should ever wish for another player to fail barring extreme circumstances. The second, and most important aspect, is that Quarterbacks are still very much in need of development; doubly more so now given the NFL's self absorbed Blitzkrieg for finding athletes who can play QB vs QBs who are athletic. College sure as hell isn't helping and don't even get me started on High School Coaching either.


    These aspects are completely different.

    Tyler Murray has beat out JJ McCarthy for starting QB to start season for the Vikes.
