I mean, you would think that the man who has both watched and played more football than anyone on here would realize that.

They couldn't tell if Monken threw a popcorn box or Dillon Gabriel they are both the same size.

*** PRETENDS TO BE SHOCKED ***

Who knew having a former OC who was suspect at best during both as a Raven and abysmal in 2019 as a Cleveland Brown would be bad?!?!

    Why not both?!

It's all relative anyways as both Dillion and the Popcorn are likely stale.

Not if the likes of Arizona or even Miami beat them to it first. Remember that the Browns do have Jared Verse from the Garrett trade. Verse is no Garrett but he isn't chopped liver either.

Did the the crowd boo the Browns for the practice? They are making a monkey out of Monken.

Still have time but I am expecting a bumpy start to the season with the offense.

I think the unit that is going to thrive is the defense.

That Wetjen fourth round pick is going to be bad if he doesn't work out as a return man on special teams, I heard he has been struggling as a receiver in camp.

Yes I would, and moving a player just to move them to a spot they aren't good at is worth what.
If I put you in a position at work that You weren't as good at instead of what you are great at is that because Im creative, or because Im grasping at straws.
When it doesn't work, again all You people can again act like I didn't say I told you so, again

No Im in line with it has been tried for 3 years, and they end up going back to what works. Watt is not that Garrett, or His brother. They played two different positions, and they all were great but at different things.
Again Troy P was great, and Rod Woodson was great, but I wouldn't want them doing the same things, hell when Rod was moved to safety they still didn't ask him to do what Troy P was doing, why because they are different types of players.
To think......well a DE on another team is doing so , and so, so we must force our OLB to do that isn't creative, or making mismatches , it just trying to follow a trend.
Wow following trends are creative now???

It hasnt been tried 3 years in a row now matter how much you repeat that.

Your whole argument with Troy and Rod is a non sequitur, has no baring on what they are trying to do with the line. Sounds like Graham has a plan for Watt, Highsmith and Herbig, all three will be lining up in different spots and not just flipping sides. I dont know why you are so opposed to trying, if it doesnt work it doesnt work but neither has leaving Watt rushing from his usual spot.

Let me just ask you one simple yes or no question. Have you seen any statements by current or former defensive coordinators/ assistants about potentially moving Watt around to create mismatchs?

    Yes or no?

So there you go. Just to be clear, you can go back and check but I have not once said I want them to move Watt around or don't want them to move him around. I'm simply trying to understand why you are pushing back so hard on something that NFL coaches are the ones bringing it up. I can't imagine you actually think you are smarter than an NFL coach but I'll leave it at this, regardless of whether I think it's a good idea or you think it's a bad idea, if they honestly thought they could gain an advantage and help the team out they're going to try it. Otherwise they wouldn't waste the effort working on those types of things in camp when time is limited. That's really all I'm getting at.

    LoL.
Yes , or no?? Have they tried this exact thing for at least the last two years, and then stopped because it wasn't working??

Just because they are HCs means nothing about brains.
Its about opportunities. Example: anyone that looked at Anthony Richardson play in college, and drafted him 4th overall, and then wondered why it didn't work is not someone I would call very smart.
Next you will tell me only the people that made it big at music are the only people that can actually play.

If you want to get yourself all riled up about something so minuscule, go ahead. Personally, I don't think they will do much of anything different with Watt during the season so I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch over it. If you want to continue arguing with yourself over it, go ahead. I've said my piece.
