I don't disagree. But after watching this scheme/play calling is an issue. They are consistently running into 8 man boxes. Bringing WR in tight is just allowing teams to bring safeties in tight that the WR are unable to block. Lineman are staying on the double teams too long to block LB. And Jones is just frustrating.

They need to not rely so heavily on outside zone, provide a healthy dose of play action, and improve execution by the QB and WR/TE to make teams pay for loading the box to get the running game going. Teams are selling out to stop the run and they haven't made them pay (rinse and repeat for years now).

    Fix #1 coming in 2026.

Passes to the middle of the field! Verboten by the previous HC, expecting big things this season:

Better drafting and coaching on the OL would be a good start. Can't do the fancy skill position jazz without a good OL.... franchise QB or not.

I think McCarthy is a good offensive coach(not at the level of McVay,Ben Johnson, etc but still a good one)but if Rodgers can't take a hit,the ceilling of this offense will be average at best.I think the offensive line will be better

Watch it. There's several people here in denial over the coaching talent of McVay and Ben Johnson. It's a sore spot for them.

I keep an eye on the Bears because my in-laws are huge fans. Cannot deny what Johnson has done for that team. They've had some gawd awful HCs. Coaching matters.

I believe its too early to say, and more than half my family live there, and I have many times in the past.
Never forget how many were was praising Matt Nagy, and Trubisky. I don't forget because I but had to hear it from my family, and less than 5 years later they were a comical meme.
All Im saying is wait , and see.
