of course both sides have claims that hold little weight but how in the hell do you control 3 branches and claim election fraud or say “if we lose its because they cheated”

that’s “tales we win, heads you lose” logic.

I mean, forcing the SCOTUS to rule on things like mail in voting and birthright citizenship is ridiculous to begin with based on our constitution. The fact that they didn’t vote for it isn’t proof there isn’t evidence of hyper partisan decisions overall. Its just proof that thankfully they do respect some parts of the constitution.

While they do get some obvious things right, they have given the POTUS way more power than he should have. How can anyone argue other wise is beyond me.

of 35 emergency/shadow dockets.. 85% have been won by this regime.

That is evidence of a hyper partisan SCOTUS.
Imagine if Tomlin won 85% of his challenges.. lol

    Back to football.

So the question becomes will he just sit out this year or find someplace else to play for the year and risk injury. He probably doesn’t have much to gain lighting up some lesser league. Could just spend the year working on his mechanics.

    Let’s stay on football, guys.

Plenty of other places to discuss politics. For the newbies we don’t discuss it here.

With no uncertainty this tells me the NFLPA also said no and most likely did so in agreement before the NFL announcement

Anyone who ever did contract negotiations particularly labor will understand and agree with this

So much for the conspiracy theories the usual suspects attempted to push but I expect them to still be pushed (I will be courteous enough to point them out)

Yep, I'm done with the politics.

Sorry for my part in side tracking us.

    Thanks for the kind reminder.

    I think so too.

But his lawyer did publicly talk about bringing a suit against the NFL based on the CBA. I wonder if he'd need (or at least want) NFLPA support for that.

Apparently he's a pretty big name guy re: bringing challenges against the NFL...at least that's what I heard on a podcast (I think Scout's Eye). If so, he's probably connected with many in the PA.

I read the opposite, but it looks like it is a moot point now.

Moot point now but his attorney is an attorney for the NFLPA

It appears they told him to pound salt

    Heard this too.

The podcast I heard it on said that the league told Sorsby's "team" that if they dropped their threat of legal action, he wouldn't face further disciplinary action for events the league already knows about. I think this is basically what they said to Watson too. We know about X. If we hear you did more than X in the past, or you go and do Y now, you're ****ed.

If that's true, I think the league is essentially looking at this as a one year unpaid suspension.

If he gets caught doing it again (or if more info from him doing it in the past comes out), I think he won't have any career in the NFL.
