The 2025 running game by the steelers was better and more efficiant that 2024....They had just less volume in 2025 because of Rodgers

The difference, under McCarthy, this is likely we will see much less running play on second down and 10 or thing like that, who is a great thing

My comment of lets hope Rodgers is willing to do that was in regards to this part of your post:

That would seem to indicate he will take a seat if either Howard or Allar were ready this season since we already know he would take on a mentor roll as he did that last season so why wouldnt he do it again.

I personally do not think he would take a seat sans being benched.

And here you think Rodgers is demanding of his teammates? The great ones know it takes more to be the best:

Tom Brady terrorized defenses for 23 long seasons; a huge reason behind that was his meticulous training. It never stopped at the film room or the practice field; it even reached into the offseason calendar, the living space, and even the dinner table of his wide receivers. Josh Gordon found that out firsthand when he came to the New England Patriots in 2018.

“He made us live with him in the offseason,” Gordon said in conversation with renowned YouTuber N3on. “Like, train right there, his wife making us food and everything like that. It’d be me, [Julian Edelman], and [Rob Gronkowski]… We would just do the craziest routine of like standing in one spot, and at least 50 times you just catching one specific pass.

“Alex Guerrero, his coach, is just holding the gun, like a speedometer for baseball, that was just clocking if it stays at 62 miles per hour… Meanwhile, your hands are just f****ng taking a beating… That’s about the craziest s***…. He’s obsessive, bro. That’s the craziest s***. When you see how hard people prepare.”
Gordon was traded to New England from the Cleveland Browns in September 2018, a move that put him in Brady’s orbit for the first time. That detail about Guerrero and the radar gun matters a lot, too. Brady was running a tracked, repeatable drill in his own home – the same ball speed, the same route, the same spot, 50 reps at a time.

I read once that some QB guru watched game tape of Brady and commented that mechanically every throw was identical. It didn't matter the distance, route or whatever.

    Clickbait bull$hit

But the OP needs to post something especially if it is negative it doesn’t have to be true

Rodgers finished 2025 at 16th of 63 exactly how did he drop 15 spaces with a better QB friendly head coach

    Dumb dumb dumb

    Rodgers' response to Rosenthal:

But in truth, another website had Rodgers at 27th in the NFL. Just ahead of Watson, Tua, Smith, Brisset, and Willis.

I would put him in the neighborhood of low 20s. Better than Cousins, Young, Shough, and Ward.

I'm surprise this is still a topic.

Aaron Rogers signed and came to camp with the intention of winning the QB job. That is his right and it should be.
There is little doubt that Rogers is anything but a great influence on any QB sitting behind him.
I would wager a guess that Rogers would have no object if one of the young guys gets in for cleanup duty, be it a massacre or a romp.
As any QB should be, of course Rogers want to be the starter.
Mike McCarthy is the checkpoint. It's on him to determine who is out there. I don't blame Mike for having a lot of trust in Rogers.
Should one of those two show some promise, then even better. If they can't beat out a 43-year-old, they should be cut anyway.

Dude, I would bet big money not many Qbs in the NFL could beat out Rodgers in a training camp situation. He still has a good arm, brain, has seen it all, and doesn't have to worry about getting hit.

I agree 31st is too low....I think he was in the middle,so 16th is fine.Still has a great arm,he is smart and he protect the ball very well similar to his entire career. But he is not mobile at this point of his career and throw the ball way too quickly because his body can't take too many hit in a season at this point of his career, who is the problem for every old QB.Also,he will be often in shotgun who limits the running game

You can win against several teams with him but I am not sure you can win a lot of games against tough competition,I hope it will change for the best with a offensive coach in McCarthy but this is a problem for Rodgers since 2022
