Anyone else...site problems?

Anyone else having issues loading the site and posting?

It will periodically load for me.

Posts will then take a while and time out.

Sometimes the same thing happens when "liking" posts.

Don't know if the problem is on the end of the site or my end. Although it happens in two different locations for me, I am using the same browser configurations on both.

Edit: This obviously posted today. Have been trying for 2-3 days for this to work.

 

yes seems to be working today. chief probably spilled his drink on the main frame.

 

You are not alone...The board was dead in the last few days because of that problem

 

One of the rare problems over the years. 99% of the time it's one of the better boards.

I believe the issue is resolved. It was a database bug that was hard to track down.

One of my sons collects those dry pack thingys you get in packages. Got a shoebox full just for the occasion.

can also purchase “rechargeable” dessicant online. Toss it in a sealed container. Turns colors when it gets too wet. Microwave to dry. Repeat until it craps out.

If it wasn't on / you don't try to turn it on then I think it has a chance of working.

But I think they will generally be pooched if they are wet and active because things will (may?) short.

But I'm a mechanical person, not an electrical one.

 

Btw, is there a contingency plan if the site were to go down permanently. Are there plans to regroup at another site. I would have no idea where to find anyone.
