1. I never said yards weren't important, I said points are more important.
2. For some of You that haven't actually played, and that's not directed to anyone but the people that haven't. Some of You act like it's easy to score no matter where you are at on the field. You know how many times I've seen RBs get turned away on the goal line, and not every RB has the proper vision to see the correct holes.
3. At least I didn't have to make a comparison with a guy that didn't even play football for the Steelers on Heinz/Acrisure field.

Actually, you did try to dismiss everything but touchdowns and Super Bowl performances. Now that you are losing the argument, you are backing away from that. You also misrepresented my parameters, which include everything, to try to prop up a terrible argument once you realized you were stuck arguing that Timmy Smith was better than Bell or Parker and that Bettis's five-carry, one-yard performance was true greatness.

Nobody is saying scoring in short yardage is easy, but five carries for one yard is not a great game. It is laughable that you are trying to double down on that.

You are just trying to dismiss the Tim Smith argument because you know how bad it makes you look.

In no way does what you posted serve as a logical counter to anything I have written in this discussion. Nowhere did I dispute that Parker was an excellent running back. He just wasn't as good as Bell.

Their records are plain as day... but STD will not recognize this. Just because Tomlin beat McVay in regular season matchups does not make Tomlin a superior coach. Hell.... Rex Ryan OWNED Bill Belichick on several occasions during the regular season and playoff game in 2010... but that doesn't make Rex Ryan a better coach than Belichick!

I would put AB paired with the Alien (MB) they complimented each other. MB was the perfect no 2 to AB by stretching the field.
