Sports wise, don`t watch much other than pro football.

Trying to pass the time and considering watching the OTHER football, team USA, but figure soccer is probably boring and I don`t know the rules.

Use to live in NY and was sort of a Knicks fan, but lost interest until just recently.

Being 5-8 slow pasty white and not having a team in Pittsburgh some how I never got into NBA

I do watch the NCAA basketball tournament because it’s a bunch of kids playing for their teammates

Only time I was into Basketball was the last time I lived in Chicago, and the Bulls were winning left, and right. I seen them live a few times. NBA average height is a 6' 7
It's a elitist game of height.
It's the only pro sport I can think of like that.

A friend took me to see Michael Jordan play against Larry Bird in Chicago Stadium circa 1988 (?) my only game

    I figured that covered me

It’s funny that you posted this just hours before 6’2” Jalen Brunson dominated with 45 points for the Knicks to win the NBA title. He was also finals MVP with 30+ points in 4 of the 5 games in the finals.

    It’s a game of skill.

    Stockton 6’1”
    Kerr 6’1”

being tall has its advantages but being quick, with a good jumper and good vision can get you far in basketball.

I was saying Average height my friend , and their average height in the NBA is 6'7.
Just like the average height in the NFL is 6'2, but we see guys under 6 foot play all over, but 6'2 is still the average height.
Also I didn't watch the game, but I watched highlights. As I said in the earlier post , I've not actually kept up with the NBA in years. Hell I just heard last night who won last year. LoL

Yeah that's awesome, and yet the Average height is still 6'7, and so it has been for at least 40 years. So the names You are therefore throwing out are outliers.

Just like the NFL has an average weight of around 245, and you can’t win without a bunch of powerful 300+ pounders. The average weight for a normal guy who is not fat is considerably less than 245. So I guess if the NBA is an elitist sport of height, the NFL is an elitist sport of weight.

Huh?? Did this make You mad?? I can't help that the average height of the NBA is 6'7.
Now which one can be had by anyone, and which one can't??
Also you said average weight of people who aren't fat?? Have You seen the OL, and how big they are after they quit. They carry lots of fat.
Also average Height of a man is 5'9.
So again. The NBA at an average height of 6'7 is a height elitist sport.
You can gain weight, You can't grow taller
How long can we keep this up??

TJ Watt, when it is all said and done, will likely be a Top 10 All Time 3-4 OLB in NFL History. I separate the likes of 4-3 DE and 3-4 OLB for the responsibilities of both are far too different in scale or scope. Mashing them together and calling them EDGEs is silly as far as ranking them goes.
