Pre-Camp Recommendation for Coaches.

It is the slow time of year. Before the full 90-man roster reports to training camp, I’d love to see these three 2026 3rd round picks get a full week of one-on-one time with the coaches if allowed.

1. Gennings Dunker. This guy has the raw power to start at guard sometime this season, but he’s making the transition from tackle to guard. As a massive rookie, he needs serious work on balance, and most importantly — learning the playbook. Plus, with Coach McCarthy’s wife from Wisconsin, I’m sure she can whip up a mean cheese steak. Dunker by his own admission can put it away.

2. Drew Allar. Our big, strong-armed rookie QB needs extra tutoring and a check-in on the progress he’s made since minicamp. He’s already flashed some really nice throws. He won’t start this year, and he probably won’t see many meaningful snaps once the season begins, but I think McCarthy sees something special in him, possibly the long-term successor to Rodgers. This extra week could accelerate his development big time.

3. Daylen Everette. This guy is going to play in the dime package from Day 1. He was a standout at minicamp, and this is the perfect chance to give him real one-on-one coaching time.

I don't think the players are allowed to be coached after this week until training camp starts. Allar has a personal QB coach so he can continue to work on things on his own.
