    Some people just “know”

Over in the Watercooler there is a poster who knows that space aliens are living in his neighborhood

Who was the Coach? He changed it to another one of his dogs.

Never mind I figured it out.

For me, I still believe that Roman Wilson can put it all together. The talent isnt to be faulted. Above the neck though has been.

Only time will tell though. Put up or shut up time for him.

Why would anyone slander a dog?

Hell, nobody even slandered Joe Paterno. Telling the truth is not slander.

I entered this post as a psychology experiment not naming any poster living or dead and just used low life and a$$hole to see if anyone’s paranoia and ego would cause them to raise their hand. And bingo Beetlejuice waived hello.
Next part will be to see if anyone with a fragile ego feels embarrassed now and foolishly thinks getting the last word in will be any less embarrassing.
I suspect results will be available soon.
Hopefully no PMs though that’s creepy.

Not sure if Wilson fits long term. Or if Metcalf survives next offseason. Figure they'll add at least one more WR next offseason and it will be a rebuilt room.

Wilson has been doing well so far in OTAs. This was the reason I was against using an early draft pick for a WR. Hopefully all works out with every WR.

It is the head coach’s responsibility to decide who plays and when they play. At a bare minimum, Mike Tomlin had a direct say in Wilson being placed in the doghouse. I was not at practice, so I cannot speak to every detail, but I saw zero evidence that Wilson did not know the offense well enough to run a few routes.Unless Wilson has some form of learning disability, it is an insult to suggest he could not learn a few new routes after spending over a year with the team. Yet he was buried on the depth chart behind players who were older and slower — players who, in many cases, had just been signed off the street! Art Smith deserves blame for this situation as well.Maybe it’s the name “Wilson,” because Tomlin also underplayed Russell Wilson and Payton Wilson last year.

But that was then — this is now. Wilson has looked like a mini-camp star. AR has no problem connecting with him, and the tape tells the story: Wilson is separating cleanly from defenders and catching the football. The man has very good quickness and speed and fine hands. He can play inside the slot and stretch the field as a deep receiver outside the hash marks. McCarty is said to love players who offer that kind of flexibility. Unless Roman said something that truly irked AR or the former head coach and stepped on the third rail of the locker room — talking about a man’s contract, his significant other’s relationships, or politics — I just don’t understand why he was in the doghouse. (There is no evidence he did any of those things; I’m just saying.) The man produced when called upon.

Trying to dress up trolling as a psychology experiment doesn't change that it is trolling. It doesn't take a psychologist to know he was still whining about people writing the truth about Joe Paterno. I am surprised that he allowed himself to be shamed into taking down the Paterno image so easily. I guess I'm taking up even more space in his head than I realized.

I think he just prefers avatars of his dogs instead of football related ones. I agree with him, like the dog ones better.

In your defense, you havent PM for a while now.

Whenever this thread boils to the top of the queue; all I can think is that "Anything that hinges on Roman Wilson is really poorly thought out".

Not an actual football take or based on anything, just what my brain instantly says inside my head.

I like the dog ones better, too.

And thank you for backing me up, but he will continue to falsely imply that I sent him a PM. He's obsessed with that particular falsehood.

System and staff can make a difference for a player. Happens in the working world all the time. Pro Football teams are no different

And when you consider the unnamed source (names, please) and the writer — Bob Labriola, who is employed by the Rooney family business and writes for Steelers.com it’s reasonable to expect him to echo whatever the organization wants to put out there. Bob is a good writer. He is arguably the best we have covering the team from a writing standpoint, but he has eaten far too many homer burgers over the years. You will never see him say a bad word about the Steelers or seriously question any of their moves. But don’t take my word for it. Judge for yourself. In the meantime, despite being left out by the coaches last year on total plays on the field Wilson has never had issues of his tape— not then and not now. He must have suddenly learned in the off season!!!

Now he is a kid quick in the slot and running by people on fly and post routes. Open McCarthy's eyes I suspect he has. Use him he will. He is trending as the #3 WR
