Ben and Todd Haley

Don’t know who saw this but it’s a decent interview with Todd Haley.



It challenges some of the narrative that Ben and Haley hated each other for sure.

 

Time heals all wounds

 

They weren't exactly golfing buddies because in Haley's last season with the Steelers he had to move from the sideline to the booth to call plays.

 

Also one isn't telling the other what to do now, and therefore their relationship dynamics are totally different now.

 

Probably reflecting on all those SBs he won without Ben.
I think Ben maybe won without the Todd.

 

Ben cost Haley a super bowl in 2008 because of the final drive!

 

That was BA in 2008 and we won that SB.

Saw this too.

I was hoping for more inside info on the tension between the two. Because I think that tension made Ben better...even though it eventually cost Haley his job.

Still a good interview.

I do think it's wild that Haley didn't think contacting Ben soon after he was hired was necessary. Really feels like this was some kind of power play (that was doomed to fail).

 

And yet......they golfed together.
