Maybe he can teach some toughness.

I have exactly 12 weeks between surgery and get on plane for a great vacation so I dang we’ll plan to do every bit of the PT I am told/allowed to do.

I’d take him back for choreographing touchdown celebrations and paying for kids shoes at sports shops.

    And that is all.

I've got them. Both in last 4 months. Incredible the difference. Both my hips were shot. Genetic. Gained my inch and half of height back.

Also if AB periodically sneaks in and steals his bike (added difficulty for AB because this almost certainly violates his bond conditions).

Not sure if this is helpful or not.

I follow Dan John for weight lifting / exercise advice. He's a strength and conditioning coach that's worked at universities and pro teams.

He's had both of his hips done (said he has "pistol grip hips"...don't know what that is though). There are probably several podcast clips like this, but here's him talking about his replacements / rehab.

You have to. The sooner and the harder you work on it, the sooner and the better you will be for it. As long as you don't push so hard you injure yourself and have a setback.

    Going somewhere special?

I'm 54 and in good health. That may or may not alter recovery. After each hip i spent the night. That's the worst part. It's not comfortable but are aren't necessarily in pain... it's more of an ache and comfort issue.

I used a walker the first couple days then just supported myself via furniture or the wall to get around. Up and down stairs is slow but no problem.

Your hip doesn't hurt. It's the other tendons and muscle that they move around during surgery to get your leg straightened out!

I would say the magic number is 10 days. You'll feel pretty good and can really tell a difference. Just before two weeks I was doing one minute stints on exercise bike. 4 weeks now and able to do half lunges. It's really amazing.

Sorry. Long. Hardest part is mental. When the therapist comes in room just a few hours after surgery and asks you to get up and walk is a bit daunting. However, just trust that your hip won't come apart and it WILL support you (it's just stiff and sore with limited range).

You'll do fine. Just listen to what they say, and do it, and prayers go out to you through it all.

Vets who are best at after a play breaks down WRS .. The looking for a old Steelers type extend the play guys who fit the Ben first hit be damned QB...

Roman would also be a good fit for that system.. The Steelers should call them up...

I don’t want him back either.

But this is the kind of thing where Bill Belichick would sign him, play him, then let him sign elsewhere and get a comp pick for him.

Which is a clever move when you don’t draft well like BB didn’t.
