Bears are the most similar franchise to Steelers, IMO.. strong emphasis on D, focus on the run game... except Steelers have had a better offense over the years. Better QBs, too. If Steelers somehow pulled a "Cleveland" in '95... I'd probably end up a Bears fan.

Unlike some people You can be born , and grow up in one state, and end up growing up in other states. I've lived in many states, and went to school in 4 different states, and played sports at 3 different states. Again because of My family, I would either be a Bears, or Steelers fan. Only time I don't watch the Bears is if the Steelers are playing, and the only time I root against the Bears are if it effects the Steelers in some way, or we are playing them. So as I tried telling people back during Trubisky on here, and then again with Fields, I've actually watched them play all year.
Also Arkansas is a mainly Cowboys market, but I was a Steelers fan way before I moved there.

I was born in West Virginia (Steelers market)... and grew up and lived in Virginia (Redskins market... even though there's many Steelers fans here).

Never lived in Virginia, but I was told by family that there are a lot of Steelers fans there. I know there are a lot of Bengals fans in Kentucky for some reason.

The funny thing about Arkansas is they hate all things Texas, and then somehow they Love the Cowboys. LoL
They try saying it's because of J. Jones, but I know many that were Cowboys fans before Jones bought the Cowboys.

Kordell Stewart and Vinny Testaverde also won several playoff games. I salute them (along with Sanchez) for doing something Steelers haven't done in almost a decade.

Rex Grossman, too! He won 2 playoff games in 2006... something Steelers haven't sniffed since 2016 season! :lolol:

I'm going to go with the bold prediction of both the SB participants missing the playoffs. NFCW is a tough division and the Hawks losing their OC and RB hurts them a ton, plus they have a tough schedule.

I live 15 miles outside of Richmond. TONS of Steelers fans here. Almost as many as Redskins fans.

I think the seahawks are going to drop off. Tough schedule, everyone will be gunning for them and i think Sam is still more of a game manager than someone who can carry a team.

I understand I personally never saw them play but Gale Sayers and Doug Atkins are two of mine. Sayers would have changed the NFL a great deal had it not been for his injury and Doug Atkins was something the NFL had never seen.

I consider Gale Syers the closest thing to Barry Sanders that I have seen. The man was incredible with moves and elite speed. Too bad they didn't have the medical technology to repair knees with the ability to recover as they do today. He was spectacular.

    What a silly rebuttal.

    Let’s compare first 2 years:

    Williams-7500 passing yards, 47 TD’s, 13 INTs

    Sanchez-5750 passing yards, 29 TD’s, 33 INTs

Anyone who knows ball would admit Sanchez was a game manager who often won in spite of his play while Williams has carried the team on his back in crunch time.

Just say you don’t watch the games next time.

Yup.. right across the river. Northern Kentucky actually had some fun spots. Wife and I would visit Cincy for a weekend to feel normal when we lived in rural Kentucky while working at a college.

For me, Gale Sayers still ranks among the Top 10 Running Backs ever. His peaks of his career were so damn dominant. Severely doubt we will ever see something like that again.

Closest one for me was Marshall Faulk. He may be made fun of now but his career was nuts.

I don't believe that Williams is as special as others claim to be. For me, his biggest downfalls continue to be the two aspects I have critiqued him about since coming out of USC; release speed and accuracy.

These two stats don't sound like much but in comparison to the top echelon of QBs, this is very poor if not abysmal. Still time for Caleb to improve but 2025 was a major step back
