do we sign a vet or use the youngsters?

 

It could be a non fooball injury. Just speculating. Ohterwise he should have signed for OTA's.

 

Steelers would be his 4th team in two years. The team can do better by not signing him.

And just maybe it's the Steelers who are dragging their feet on the deal because Savage ain't worth it.

 

We do currently have Elliot and Brisker with Ramsey able to back either of them. Castro is also a Safety that put out some good film. I don't know anything about the DB we drafted this year.

Chuck Clark is still a FA.

i will say clark started out shaky but he ended up playing some pretty good football for us.

 

i'm really liking what spears- jennings may bring. the free safety spot is the one more in demand here. we have lots of strong safety types. if ramsey plays back there i hope they fix him. there were times he was terrible back there. we have a good deal of corners that would keep ramsey from having to play corner. i think savage was a stretch anyway.
