I had to go with Brown/Sanders/Wheaton/Cotchery & Moye. Its tough between Brown & Moye, but ultimately I had to go with Moye who has played a little better so far. I would like to see more of Dunn though.

Yep, and either they are trying to hide JD.Woods or they were pissed at him from running out the k/o in the 1st game when he was told to down it. Either way, Woods wasn't thrown at at all in the 2nd game.

I'm thinking after 2 regular season games, Cotchery's stats will be the same...1 catch 5 yards.

for this year i'd do all I could to keep 6. I really have mixed feelings about keeping cotchery over moye or brown and the only reason being is:

how quickly wheaton is coming along.
the very good possibility of losing them off the PS at some point this season, knowing cotch, and sanders may also be gone next year.

that just retards the development and cohesion in this offense. that's another season we have ticking off bens years left, waiting for new guys to gel with ben.

I do like cotchery. he is the vet. so is our new wr coach though. we had a guy not much older then the players he was coaching the last couple of years and I think that vet presence was needed, not as much now. not if it's just for a year, and not if it cost us some good future players, and their time with ben in this offense.

AB, Sanders, Wheaton, Cotchery, and J Brown. You keep an extra it's Moye.

That's what they'll do too. IMO

You may be selling him a little short ...
He'll have about 1.2 receptions and 13yds per game; and he'll likely be out injured 2.5 games.

Well in addition to Tyler Shaw, who I left off since there was 10 choices max and he didn't have any receptions, it looks like he along with Moore and Gilreath will be the first recievers we will see cut.

I voted for Brown, Sanders, Wheaton, Brown, Moye. My belief is they'll go with Cotchery over Moye.

I totally agree with you. But how can they overlook the production of both Brown and Moye over Cotchery, especially given Cotchery's lack of any real production in the regular season(s)??

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. While Cotchery didn't catch a lot of passes last year if I remember correctly a large portion moved the chains. Moye is intriguing due to his size and hands; however, he hasn't done anything against starting caliber NFL competition.

IMO the Steelers have made their choice for at least the top 5 and it's:

    A.Brown, Sanders, Cotchery, Wheaton, Moye

Neither J.Brown or JD.Woods were not targeted at all in last night's game and are likely headed to the practice squad.

I think they should teach gradkowski a second play. the other teams are going to catch on to the deep streak pattern to wheaton down the sidelines.:cool:

Aw come on now, Wheaton was only targeted 8 times, only 2 more than Moye's 6. LOL :smiley1:

Edit: Quite frankly, I'm not as impressed with Mr.Clean so far, as I thought I would be.

me and every other person on earth that was awake knew it was coming. i'm pretty sure someone hit GRADS arm on the throw to wheaton 6 times and moye was in the area. LOL :lolol::cool:
