start the season with LSH,bell and jones as the backfield?

are we auditioning dwyer as possible trade bait. maybe a trade for a guard or a tackle? or just pocket the saved money from dwyer, redman and batch?

this addition of jones could make this possible or a reality. would we do this?

I think it comes down to dwyer or red. I think Dwyer wins he looked good against the skins and didn't tap out once.

I seriously doubt it. No experience in the system other than LSH. Jones is a not that great and we still don't know what we have in Bell. I wouldn't mind trading dwyer for some oline help if we can get some takers but I would keep Redman and cut Batch.

Based on the fact that Jones had value, we better not be cutting Dwyer or Redman. We better get some value in return. As has been mentioned, possibly some O-line help.

we still have alexander and wright that could hit the PS. we have seen a small sample of alexander, but not wright yet. i'm not sure how much jones we will get Saturday night. he won't have practiced at all by then. we may not see him until the last game. lot's of ways to go. very interesting new twist.

He may get a few carries depending on who all is able to go.

At this point who knows. If Bell is hurt more than expected/etc then I doubt they trade/etc any of them....but then again nobody seem them making a trade like this so....yeah...

LSH didn't play against the Redskins, maybe he is hurt more than they are saying. Or maybe Batch, Wright, and Alexander aren't decent enough backups of the LSH type. We'll have a lot better idea after Saturday's game.

I think it's a real possibility.. Coach T was quick to discount Dwyer's effort on Saturday by mentioning the fumble in the same breath. I think you have to put Redman in there though. Bell, LSH, Redman and Jones. Let me add that I don't think this trade has anything to do with Bell's injury status.

Welcome back freak.. We'll have to wait until Tuesday for the first round of cuts. More meaningful cuts won't be until after the 4th preseason game. Been on a long Holiday?

Regarding Dwyer as trade bait for and offensive lineman, at first I thought, why then didn't they just trade the lb for an o-lineman. Then I remembered that Philadelphia's offensive line was miles worse than ours last year, and ours was pretty bad.

Remember, Dwyer has no trade value or else he would've been traded on draft day when they got Bell, which they already tried to do. Also, no team has O-line depth so lineman aren't likely to be traded. They'll just have to scour the waiver wire after first cuts and hopefully get lucky.

Well, there is always the CFL; course I'd hope they've been looking there already.

I know we wouldn't trade with the ratbirds, but i'm still thinking jah reid will be available soon.

he wasn't in with their second unit last night either and there were some articles a couple of months ago talking about him. they are happy with a couple of young guys and he is actually an extra 3rd string LT/RT capable guy for them right now.

much, much better then batiste and whimper and arguably better then our starters right now. familiar with the ZBS too.

a lot may depend on what they do with beachum.

I don't think there is a question of if they have to find someone or not. possibly a guard or G/C type guy if he's out there.

By that logic, Felix Jones should have been traded on draft day.
