Can't believe we are going for a sweep in their ballpark. We actually did it 10 years ago. Should it be a wonderful Sunday and we sweep them they will be only team under .500 in the NLC. That is our usual spot by now.

Bucs now 6-2 in NLC which is the way to do it. Interestingly, Bucs already beat the 2 teams ahead of them (and on fire) 2 of 3 each at their parks. Nice trend so far. In past seasons, Bucs don't win a game like last night on the road.

3 innings to go but I am calling this one early. No fire in their eyes today. Not to shabby 2 out of 3 in Brewer land. Headed home at 16-12 to smoke the Cardinals and the Reds. A 5-2 homestand would be so sweet.

Always nice when the team takes a day off and the teams above them also do the same. Nothing gained, but also nothing lost. Gotta take 3 or 4 from Cards and 2 of 3 from Redlegs, all at home. Hope Ashcraft returns quickly from his "Family Leave", he's been very good so far.

No loss is good but last night's really sucked. To think, 2 perfect games for 1st 20 batters in 4 days is unbelievable. Skene's is no surprise but using a bullpen by committee to pull this off was amazing. Santana pulled a Bednar just as Soto did over the weekend. A real shame for the earlier contributors against a very beatable Cards team.

Just read where, until the 9th inning last night, Bucs had shut out Cards 36 straight innings at PNC. Should have been 37!

Cardinals certainly made up for it last night scoring 11. And we take over last place.

Didn't realize Ashcraft was gone on bereavement leave. He may have rushed back and his head wasn't in the game last night. Even though Bucs scored 7 runs, it was over early. Homers flying out galore but pitching sucked once again.

Can't believe you guys are celebrating my 43rd wedding anniversary.;) You get the Seattle Mariners and dollar dogs. You should go the 26th it's Miller Lite happy hour.

Hopefully it is Paul Skenes turn on the mound. And I'll be amazed if they are .500 or better by then.

Uh oh. All about to be back to normal in the MLB world. Those rough and ready Bucs are headed to last place and soon to be under .500 for the season.

    Thanks Bob!

And now the end is near
And so I face the very last place
My fellow fans I'll say it clear
Were gonna suck each and every year
But I did it my way

    Regrets, I have none
    Money, I've made a ton
    Fleece the fans
    It's so much fun
    I did it my way

    Robert Nutting (sorry Frank)

Really don’t think Nutting gets credit for a sorry ass bullpen.
Than again he did sign them
    Carry on
