LoL. I actually loved that movie when it 1st came out. Seen it at the theaters in Commerce Texas.

 

I seen Metallica in 83 with I believe Raven in Texarkana Texas, and I've seen them 3 times since. One which was the one with Queensryche, and yes both of those albums Rock, I don't care what people say. I actually met Queensryche at a meet , and greet before the concert at a record store in Little Rock AR.

I walked into a bar in Indiana and went straight to the jukebox and played Renegade. Want to hear it right away but didn’t skip songs . It came on the very moment the Steelers traded up and I turned the volume up manually cause I just knew how. Been cranking the jukebox all night . Donnie iris, poison, wiz Kaleefa, and bunch of Pittsburgh music. Currently Iron Maiden which my neighbor is cranking

Speaking of worn out songs, anyone remember the DVE best rock song of all time thing. Every year it came down to Stairway to Heaven and Free Bird. Went from loving them to sick of them.

Playing it in a stadium of fans to start the fourth quarter, whatever. It never made it to the tv broadcast anyway. Leave that up to the local fans.

I am over Stairway to Heaven. That song is way overplayed and on every Classic Rock Corporate Programmed Playlist.

I grew up an 80's and 90's metal and alt rock fan. Some will think this heresy, but I always liked the Doors or Blue Oyster Cult (seen them live several times) better than Led Zeppelin. Godzilla, Don't Fear the Reaper, and Veteran of the Psychic Wars are awesome songs.

Zeppelin has always been overplayed, even back in the 80's and 90's.

 

My choice below. I find myself singing that first verse OFTEN, not daily, but more than any other song it just randomly enters my head. Hearing that darn good driving beat and then picturing a much older Rocky. haha
