I don't care if they win these games but I would like to see them play better and look like highly paid professionals. It all starts with O-line if they don't get their act together we are in trouble, there's 4 high draft picks starting on the O-line and the struggles continue. William Gay still sucks I was okay with him coming back as long as he was the 3rd or 4th cornerback, Cortez Allen needs to stay healthy because Gay is a starting caliber cornerback. I see Jarvis Jones, Shamarko Thomas, and Markus Wheaton contributing this season Jones needs to put on some weight maybe 10-15 pounds not sure he can hold up against the run. Woodley looks to be in better shape this year and Gradkowski seems like a good signing with the O-line struggling he can scramble pretty good, unlike those 2 stiffs Batch and Leftwich.

BA is terrible.. well we won a SB under the guy... hes done pretty damn well since he left us.. as far as the "stiff" batch ... all he did was win for us... if you want to pick on a batch pick on baron batch .. id still take charlie or baron... they all suck .. not just gay

There is no point in keeping Gay. Use that roster spot for a guy who Gay may be slightly better than right now. The young guy can improve, Gay has shown his game

in a normal year we intend to go to the SB and win it .. so the thinking is keep gay and every strongest person that gives us the best chance to win.. to me this team is probably a 7-9 team... in the event we get every call and every break and we go 10-6 and squeek into the playoffs .. i see us as none and done ... so with that said i think we do look to the future and many keep the next best guy .. but gay is a roster lock and i never did thiink he sucked.. he had a prety good year the year he left us ...

They showed a guy during the preseason game against the Redskins wearing a bumblebee jersey. It was of Ben. That's a random thought I just had and I felt this thread was the PERFECT place to share it.

We keep Gay because this is the age of tolerance and we want to promote diversity. For too long NFL rosters have been about elite talent but we are trying to break that awful trend. Hopefully next year we sign a woman.

Someone took my spot right here!

I've been working on my Random Thoughts about our preseason for about a week, but haven't finished them yet.
I'll share some of them here tomorrow, but I'll take a shot at Steelersrule6's comments:

Gay is ok for me as a Nickel Back. I don't trust him as a starting CB, and I'm not comfortable seeing him as a potential replacement of Taylor or Allen if he needs to step up.
I've liked Woodley so far, seems that he's in better shape and hopefully, has a chip on his shoulder after those offseason anonymous comments about him.
I still prefer Batch over Gradkowsky. My ideal scenario at QB would have been: Ben, Batch, Gradkowski or Parker Wilson. Never been sold on Landry Jones.
Our Oline will be ok. At least our starters. But... we need depth badly over there.
Jarvis Jones will be a strong candidate for rookie of the year by mid november. Mark my words. He's a playmaker.
Wheaton will contribute as a 3rd down receiver, and will make some plays. If our Oline underperforms, and our system becomes a short route passing oriented, he'll benefit from it.
Thomas will see some playing time at FS/SS, since Clark or Polamalu will eventually miss some time. Hope he's up to the challenge. So far, so good for him, and I've liked what I seen about him this preseason.

    B Batch _B Gone!
We don't hear the Bell? I think I'm Coming out of denial & into anger, yep, there it is. F@#$!
Gay, a bad dream?-Marcus Gilbert, if only it were... (Despair)

Thank you Defense. JJ and Shamarko, good stuff!
Howling/Dwyer/Redman, can you save it? (Hope)

Ben, thankful he's a gamer not a whiner. He'll work with anything hahahaha hahaha (delirium)

    WR core looks good.

I've already shared some thoughts to date looking ahead to P3 Sat. night with Coach Reid coming to town with 2 losses of their own both were close. lost to the 49ers by only 2pts last week.(They be hungry too) Hopefully we can have a good game in front of the home crowd and the Nation. Would like to see Alex struggle by our 3 rotators and our OL getting it right.
