Did anyone see Seattle winning a Super Bowl this last year? I don’t think that applies anymore. Steelers have been trash for a while. This **** needs to stop.

 

Steelers OL got manhandled by Houston in playoffs. They cannot afford to get weaker at that position with Jones gone. Hopefully he will contribute this year and be a solid perennial starter in future.

 

Omar said they aren't sure exactly how the OL will shake out, they just want to get the best 5 on the field. He said Tackles are so hard to find that you have to grab them when you have a chance even if it's not sexy.

 

This is a good pick for the Steelers, we need OL depth

 

Not a fan of the pick. I know this is supposedly a strong OL class but no way in hell the 6th best OT should be going at 21. Not when you still have Thieneman on the board. Hell, I would rather have seen them go for Jermod McCoy at 21.

 

I know nothing about this pick cause I barely watch college football. What I do know though is that the Steelers Oline has been trash for about 2 straight seasons now and the AFC North foes are all going all in on Defense this year. It is not a fan favorite pick but one that is really needed. Time will tell. Just glad they didn’t waste a 1st round on a QB this year.

 

You draft for depth in the fourth round or later. With the first round pick you need to take a player that will make an impact right away. We picked a guy who never saw a football until 48 months ago.

Can you last high draft pick Steeler lineman that was raw but had the tools who the team developed into even an AVERAGE starter?

 

He's a freak athlete no doubt about that. His size and speed are very rare but he is just so new to football I can't imagine him making an impact this season.

 

Stephen’s was raw but made up for it by being fat and lazy.
