Freaking love it. Look so forward to it. Watch the whole thing, we have a draft thread and we all just chop it up as the picks are made. The last day I dont see too much of it because of how early it starts but 1st 2 days I watch every pick.

Combine I catch what I can, usually just have it on in the background while I am at work.

    Is that you, Antonio?
You shouldn’t use McKnight Rd like it is your personal Autobahn.

I'm always very thankful for people on message boards that do these kind of deep dives on the draft.

I'll avidly read all the info that people share.

And I'm glad that you're watching it so I don't have to!

    Thanks in advance.

funny looking at those prices for sandwiches. I'd be a rich man if I could take my money back to those times.

Remember a family member struggling over deciding if they could get a new Volkswagen Beetle. Cost 1,999.00. My last car: 40,000.00.

Me too (not the movement;)). I watch very little but AskQuestionsLater is great to follow on the board. He knows his sh!t and actually predicted 1 or 2 guys the Steelers drafted last season.

I don't really follow NCAA. AQL gives info about college career on whoever the Steeler pick

I can see the draft being a great time for those who follow NCAA closely and a great party for those who don't. I live in the Burgh I'd go for the party.

I was in Philly when the draft was going on. It was cool seeing just about all 32 teams fans there. Different jerseys all over the city. Lot of Steeler jerseys. Lot of Raven ones too.

For the casual fan I can see your point, but for us non casual football lovers
It is the biggest meat market in the world.

I'd rather just do the deep dive on the guys we end up picking vs. trying to learn about every prospect.

I also try not to get too attached to guys pre-draft. Because then I worry that I'll end up hating our picks when we make them because they don't pick "my guy" (I don't think everyone does this, but I worry I would).

The only pick I've ever really complained about was PF over Humphrey. Not because I didn't like PF (although I did think TE was a luxury pick for us). But because C was such an enormous need and Creed was pretty widely seen as the best C in the draft (who didn't have big injury concerns).

Good news is that we recently picked Frasier, so we have a very good C now. But we voluntarily picked years of horrible to meh center play in exchange for an average-ish TE who we often forget is even on the team (at least by targets).

For people saying that Tomlin didn't have a farewell/retirement tour, my prediction is that he will be a featured guest at the draft.
If he doesn't have a prominent roll as part of the broadcast team, he will be chosen to announce the Steelers' first pick.

It will be elecric, I personally am using Public transportation from Ross Park mall to Northside. Unfortunately there will be a lot of price gouging.

How much does it cost to attend the actual draft itself? Or is it free?

It is free to just walk around to venues, I do not know to get into ticket venues? Plenty.
Many things to see and do. For all you out of towners coming in, PGH it is hard to drive in( topograghy
Stay at your Hotel or Air B&B and let lyftt or Uber do the driving.

I'm hearing closest hotels with rooms are in Cranberry. That's a healthy uber ride away.

About 20 minutes, that's is when traffic maybe moving. The city of PGh is expecting over 700,000 for this 3 day event. Could be tough sledding for traffic with this large of crowd.
