And one of those losses was when Ben threw an interception in the endzone against Denver with a chance to tie the game at the end .

Remember when they used birth dates for the Nam draft? My birthday was second one picked, thankfully I was still two years away from the age limit.

My father missed the draft by a few days. He was lucky... born in '50, prime age for draft, was 18 by 1968. Draft started in 1969.

The other 2 against the chargers and raiders was just brutal...Can't believe Tomlin let Roethlisberger on the bench for almost the second half in Oakland

And when against the chargers, our ILB was in man coverage against their best receiver in the most important play of the game. Our sorry defense was in the playoffs mode in the second half but of course you will find a new way to blame Ben

Now all males over 18 are automatically registered for the draft instead of having to do it on their own like they had to do since 1977.

    Has this happened yet

Selective Service suggests by the end of 2026 and as a part of updating a drivers license or other government ID

I hope I'm too old at age 53. I wouldn't pass the physical anyway. Was diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2009. Can't see a soldier who has to sleep with a CPAP machine being able to serve.

Why do You keep bringing P. Manning into it?? Their playoff games are almost Identical. I've shown you this before.

This, and P. Manning with all his supporters of his awesome hard works numbers are very identical to Ben's in the playoffs.

And I keep rubbing the point that it's not that simple, and if it was , nobody would have 4-13 seasons. Nobody is saying Ben wasn't great. He's 1st ballot HOF in my eyes, and should be to everyone else's eyes. That doesn't mean he didn't have bad games. Tomlin is 1st ballot HOF, but doesn't mean he did have bad games.
Guess what sometimes it just doesn't work. It's not You day, or your team is facing a bad matchup.
Guess what bunch of people on here think Josh Allen is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Yet where are his SBs.
Guess what many people on here think Marino was God, and he was not only coached by a HOF HC, but by 2 HC coaches yet one SB in all that time. Some of You make it seem like it's a simple thing. It only takes one mistake for no win. He but since it was all Tomlins fault, we should be in the SB soon.

There are people saying Ben wasn't great. He may be in your eyes, but he's not in everyone else's. That's the point. They blame HIM for every significant loss. If you can read through this thread and not see that there are some here that want to blame him for every single loss, then I don't know what to tell you.

I have said that Ben has played crappy games. I have said that Mike Tomlin was a great coach, but things kind of slipped away from him a bit at the end of his career. The points I am making about having a nearly decade-long stretch of the worst playoff defense in the history of football is a real thing. That doesn't mean that I don't like Tomlin and respect him. I am grateful for his time here.

Some want to say that Tomlin can do no wrong and his players let him down, and Ben is the guy they point to most often.

I played football. I understand that it's hard to win and that all phases of the game need to bring it every single week. No one man is winning anything in the NFL. It is also very rare that one man loses anything in the NFL.

That is pretty much my entire point. That people that ***** about Tomlin too much and the people that ***** about Ben too much are being ridiculous. They won more than their fair share, and everyone should enjoy what they accomplished instead of trying to hate one of them with every post they make. We all wanted more championships, but enough of the boo-hoo crap of pointing the finger of blame at one person.

The problem is that when trying to defend one of them, I have to demonstrate that there are other forces that helped to cause the losses and I have to say that there were failures by others as well.

Ben has had his fair share of stinker games. Every Hall of Fame quarterback has.

It's as if all these people banging on Ben haven't actually watched other great quarterbacks struggle.

If there is another draft I suspect we could find a way to be useful somehow to the good of the cause

Yes and I have agreed with you that Ben played worse in the playoffs rather stepping up his game

And I agreed with you this is part of the reason there is no question on Bradshaw being our best QB ever
