If we are looking at QB for pick #99, Garrett Nussmeier is still available. He had a rough senior year but has had a good post season winning the Senior Bowl MVP and having an excellent combine.
My highest rated player still left is Jadarian Price the RB from Notre Dame. He has a second round grade on him and would be a big improvement over what we currently have as our #3 RB. Also Price could immediately step in and be our KR. On 22 kick returns he returned 3 for TD's.

Nussmeier reminds me so much of Brian Griese it is funny. Comes from a football family, and will probably bounce around the NFL as a career backup.

Thats who I was thinking of now. And MM has ties to Nuss so it’s something that may happen in the real thing.

I think injuries had a lot to do with his down year.

I'm trying to figure the logistics the FO would employ if they go QB with Rodgers coming back. I don't see them bailing on Howard, but a 43 year-old QB with a rookie and second-year QB behind him is hard to envision them going into the season with as well.

Still, I'd be leaning Nussmeier here. Not my final answer, but I think he was banged up this season, and has a chance to flash. A late third isn't too steep of a price if they see something.

Provided the eagles don't take him at 98, my vote for 99 remains the same as my last one..

Didn't take him. Needed an end, not a tackle.

Our roster now has Mason Rudolph and Will Howard, we need a QB and the best one left is Garrett Nussmeier so I am going to make him my official pick for #99 overall.

I'm with you, we need to come away with a QB out of this draft and the others remaining are projects. Nussmeier just turned 24, his small hands worry me and he didn't have a very good season last year but I do think he was injured which had a lot to do with it.

    My official vote is for:

    Garrett Nussmeier QB LSU

I don’t know much about the players that remain. I liked Nuss in 2024. I didn’t like watching him at all last season. Also, his size and small hands concern me for AFCN play.

what the heck. I’ll go with @blackandgoldpatrol@blackandgoldpatrol and vote for Demonte Capehart.
