Only a couple of points ahead of being totally out of playoffs

Pirates maybe are only hope at this point

 

Each Conference has 8 Playoff teams for a total of 16 Playoff teams. Top 3 teams in each division make it so that is 12 Playoff teams and then 2 highest point total after top 6 make it for each Conference.

At the moment Pens are #3 in the Met Division. Season ended today we'd be in but since it's not we best beat the Senators tonight.

 

Pens get screwed again on goal tender interference! 0-9 . League is inconsistent.

 

Thankfully we got 2 points.

 

Tough one today. Stars are good. I like when the National Anthem is played in Dallas. They yell "stars" when it comes up in song. It is in the Burgh today.

If you get the NHL Channel the PENS are on Monday night.

Pirates and Pens both on for me Monday night. Seeing 2 wins would be awesome but if I had a choice got to go with PENS. Way more important.

 

Couldn’t watch the Pens today. It looked like a good offensive showing by the lesser known names. Ending up watching the terrible Pirates lose to the Reds 2-0.

 

I had both Pens and Bucs to watch, glad I stayed with Pens.

 

2026 Pirates look like the same old same old no offense production. Not one hit beyond a single yesterday. Best chance they had was back to back walks and no outs but still couldn’t manage a run producing hit. Owner needs to sell the team. Ridiculous to have any hope!

 

Back to back big time impressive wins and the Buccos even won! Skinner played his best game as a Pen.

 

7 games to go and Pens have 3 point cushion on 2nd place in Met Division.

Next 2 games against the FLA. Panthers and both in the Burgh.

Can’t play like they did last night and expect them to make noise in the playoffs if they even make it. Way too many mistakes and zero defense. One game they look like the team that could go all the way and the next game look like they could flop and miss the playoff altogether.

 

So far only 1 team has clinched a Playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. 3 teams in the Western.
