yes obvious needs but at 21 you are already at the 4th,5th or 6th ranked WR, the 4th 5th, 6th ranked CB instead of the top ranked TE plus whatever else he can bring as a receiver. there are plenty of corners and wide receivers that can fit the same bill as the what is left at the 21st spot but the multi role receiving TE is not. look what kelcy and mahomes did for years together. sure they have aged now but what they did prior to last year was a thing of beauty. you can't let the smith and smith experiment determine the upside the kid brings.

well free agency has started and it may change the drafting a little bit. 2 corners, ILB depth, RB replaced, #2 WR. that is a good start. it may rearrange how we look at needs. depending on what they decide on queen and ramsey and the guard position.

DL could be an option but i think it will be more of a depth piece right now.

    OT? maybe.

S again depending on ramsey and it may depend on jamison. i think he could be a possibility.

    ILB, depending on queen.

corner more of a depth down the road addition.

WR? maybe still a good chance. possibly more of a slot type.

That’s a massive assumption that top 3 wr’s and cb’s are gone by 21. Mite point now as Guard, DT, QB or ILB are in play now depending on what happens in the rest of FA.

    massive?

    CB's Delane
    Terrell
    McCoy

    WR's Tyson
    Tate
    Lemon

all are slotted to go before 21. that's 3 of each. so as i said we would be looking at the 4th WR and the 4th CB.

OK since free agency has started some things have changed slightly. doesn't mean some of the same spots won't be taken but added to.

    2 CB's 1 added 1 re-signed dean and samuel
2 S added savage and brisker
2 WR added pittman and perry
    1 RB added dowdle
2 DL re-signed otomewu and heyward
    1 LB re-signed holcomb
    1 punter added johnston
    1 O-Lineman added jack driscoll

    1 TE cut. smith
    1 RB lost gainwell
    1 G lost seumalu
    1 punter not re-signed waitman
    1 WR not resigned austin
    1 FB/TE not re-signed heyward
    1 BU Tackle cut anderson
1 BU Center not re-signed mccullom

remember donald parham was signed last year only to get hurt early and smith was signed and now cut.

i'm pretty sure omar isn't quite done yet. stay tuned.

Well it pretty much doesn’t matter now after free agency. Looks like OG will be the main target or bpa.

free agency just about over. here is the latest. unless sadiq drops. i could see them doing something like this. probably won't be anything like this though since we don't know mccarthy's tendencies and so many ways to go.

    1. chris brazzell WR Tenn.
    2. keionte scott CB Miami
    3. markel bell OT Miami
    3. bud clark S TCU
    3. garrett Nussmeier QB LSU
    4. billy schrauth OG Notre Dame
    4. dion burks WR Oklahoma
    5. bryce boettcher LB Oregon
    6. josh moten CB Southern Miss.

    one i'd like to see.

    1. kenyon sadiq TE Ore.
    2. zacharia branch WR Geo.
    2. deangelo ponds CB Ind.
    3. bud clark S TCU
    4. billy schrauth OG ND
    5. bryce boettcher LB Ore.
    6. sawyer robertson QB Bay.

as you see we have moved back into the 2nd to get what we need. we could possibly keep one of the 3rd's as well and get a tackle or wr or db.

You were nuts for where you wanted to draft him :lolol:

They got him right where they should have. And let’s not pretend he is the offensive weapon he was being touted as during the draft.

As for Sadiq, skip him in the first and take Stowers later.

big difference in those two. stowers they can cover with a 4.5 safety, sadiq they can't. let's also not pretend washington as they finally started using him properly is a weapon. they never should have fattened him up to just be used as another lineman. MT sort of ruined what he had with this kid. i believe mccarthy may better use his skills.

I don't think your nuts for suggesting him. Quite the opposite actually. Kenyon's issue isn't in his abilities as a football player.

Will Kenyon even be available at Pick 21?! He is way too talented a Tight End from a receiving perspective. He is more talented than Brock Bowers coming out and that dude was an animal in his rookie season.

I like to have Ponds and Schrauth from this list very realistic also.
