Steelers Comp Pick History... A Mixed Bag

• A few big hits in Rd3 but not much else after that. Note that on a few of those picks the Steelers barely got the value because their best came after they left.
• Note also the best chance for a hit seems to come before pick 150 or so.

How awesome would it be if they nab a Hines Ward at WR with a comp pick this year?

They ended up trading Vrabel away. Ward was probably their best comp pick in history just like LC Greenwood was probably the best 10th round draft pick in Steelers history.

 

They didn’t trade Vrabel

He left as a FA

 

So how does this compare to the other teams?

 

I was thinking trade as well. But I guess one that got away. Who did we keep instead?
