What are your favorite TV shows still airing?

    We'll leave out shows that have ended for good for this discussion. Only shows that have yet to be either cancelled or had their series finale.

    Mine are (not necessarily in order of preference exactly)

    1. Game of Thrones
    2. Justified
    3. Fringe
    4. The Walking Dead
    5. Boardwalk Empire
    6. True Blood (ok, mostly just for some female eye candy. Jessica....mmmmmmmmm)

    I started watching American Horror Story, and I like it so far, but since it's only 3 episodes in, I can't say for sure if it's a "favorite." I've been trying to give Terra Nova a chance, but that show is pretty awful so far. I missed the boat on Sons of Anarchy, and only recently started watching season 1. That may make my list soon.

    One caveat: No judging! This is only to see what interests people. I don't expect all of us to like the same stuff. So if somebody says "Grey's Anatomy," that's their taste. It may not be yours, but there's no need to belittle anyone. They'd better be a female, but... I'm joking! :hehehe:

    There's not much that my wife and I watch anymore. We're pretty much down to just 2 shows, which are Doctor Who and Fringe. I've been watching Doctor who since the early 80s, and the new series is still pretty good. I was also a huge X-files fan, and Fringe is the closest thing there is to that these days.

    I was a huge X-Files fans, too.

    Mine are:

    1) Body of Evidence
    2) Forensic Files/Dr G.
    3) Whitney
    4) Glee
    5) Dancing with the Stars
    6) The Sing-Off


    And yes- I am obviously a girl. :lolol: But I watch the music shows on the computer as to not alienate my hubs. ;)

    My wife and I are watching that one. I dig the show, but man is it out there. Kind of like Twin Peaks in a way with just how weird that show is. Entertainment Weekly just had an article about the show this week talking about it. One of the ideas the producers had was to get a different cast every year. Which would make sense since no one should want to stay in that house for a long period of time. Now whether this means they would kill everyone off or have them move on, I don't know.

    Shows I watch that are still on:
    The Walking Dead (what an awesome show)
    Burn Notice
    Survivor (not really sure why I watch it anymore)
    Royal Pains
    The Glades
    Rizzoli and Isles
    Raising Hope

    Shows that I watch that were canceled within the last year:
    The Good Guys. It was a fantastic show, too bad no one watched it
    Human Target. It was kinda hokey but it was great fun to watch it
    Men of a Certain Age. This was a GREAT show. TNT completely screwed this show up by airing a 6 week season. By the time you realized the season had started it was halfway over.

    Have to watch MTV shows cuz my girlfriend is an MTV junkie (Jersey shore, the real world, that type of stuff)

    LOVE, LOVE, Justified! It is my favorite right now.

    I also like Burn Notice since I'm a Bruce Campbell fan.

    I like the History Channel a lot, Pawn Stars, Swamp People, Brad Meltzer's Decoded.

    I've been watching a lot of 30 Rock reruns lately. Didn't really get into it before, but it is a funny show. Unfortunately Tosh.0 and Southpark are still on the list - bonding time with my teenage son I guess - LOL! I really enjoy Pawn Stars and American Pickers too. Ditto on Swamp People.

    Dexter is really wearing thin on me, though. They never should have broke away from the books.

    The Walking Dead is losing it's luster as well. The writing and acting are just meh.

    If you haven't seen Parks & Rec, you need to give that a try. It's in the same style as The Office, but much funnier, MUCH less squirmy (not squirmy at all, really), and has more heart. It was good since the beginning, but it just keeps getting better and better.

    Did the same although the blonde gets on my nerves a bit. These things always have a superchick and no one else knws anything. Usualloy they are twenty -somethings.
