And again. Even if You do replace all 22 starters that means nothing. Name Me one game you have seen where only all 22 starters play the whole game. It's impossible.
    1. You don't play many starters on ST, and believe me , You can lose because of ST.
    2. Guys need breaks, and breathers throughout the game, and that isn't even counting......
    3. Injuries, I've yet to see one game where someone isn't replaced, at least for a play, or two because of a Injury, and that's not counting.....
    4. Season ending Injuries.
    5. Name Me one year the starting 22 played as the starting 22 the whole season, no games missed.

Hey they don't let that fact bother them. Now comes the excuses for that record, excuses that every team with that record could use.

AND.....still he did it with someone else's players. He wasn't there long enough to draft his own players to do it, even if every one of his picks where complete success.

15-1 in 2004 and super bowl win in 2005 in the previous 2

2006 was just a down year, similar to the 2009 steelers or the 2025 chiefs and several other example in the NFL

The seahawks were still not a super bowl caliber team before 2024.The last time they had been true contender for the super bowl,it was from the 2012 to 2015 period

It was Todd Bowles who was the head coach when the Jets draft Darnold

Gainwell actually ran forward and didn't dance around sometimes going backwards like Harris did. Harris was the most frustrating RB to watch in Steelers history....and I lived through the Abercrombie, Pollard and Jackson years. When it looked like Harris was gonna break a big gainer.... he'd run directly into a defender or dance around and run into one of his own teammates. He was the anti-Le'Veon Bell. :lolol:

With all that said... Harris was good player, good teammate who just didn't have the talent and vision of previous Steelers RBs.... like Hoge, Foster, Morris, Pegram, Bettis, Parker, Mendenhall and Bell.

It is funny that you think posting inaccurate information somehow supports your points. The one time Pegram led the Steelers in carries was 1995. He ran for only 813 yards and averaged just 3.8 yards per carry, and that was on a team that made it to the Super Bowl. Harris was a much better back than Pegram.

How is it inaccurate? Harris was a disappointment for a 1st round draft pick... and not nearly as successful as previous RBs selected in later rounds by Steelers.... and one of which was a UDFA in Willie Parker.

When a player was drafted is irrelevant to evaluating their talent/production. Harris was a much better back for the Steelers than Pegram.

Your defense of Harris and Pickens is admirable and duly noted.

The failure in football knowledge that led you to argue that Pegram was better than Harris is duly noted.

A lot of what I do is point out the terrible arguments being made. That one you posted was a doozy.

Splitting carries made him average only 3.8 yards per rush? This was with a much better offensive line and much better passing game than the Steelers ever had with Harris.

Mind you, that was the only season Pegram was a true starter in Pittsburgh. Morris ran the ball 148 times that season, one fewer than Jaylen Warren got as Harris's backup in 2023. Harris still went over 1,000 yards and averaged 4.1 yards per carry.

Now if you want to talk about what Pegram was in Atlanta earlier in his career, that's fine, but as a Steeler, Harris was easily the superior back.

Pegram ran forward just about every time. Can't say that about Harris.
