Report came out that Steelers were signing him, then that report was deleted.

 

I'm still seeing it reported a few places.

Better question is how many will be signed and then shoehorned into the game plan and force fed the ball until they tank someone else's season. They have a long way to go to wash the stink of Artie Smith's favoritism off them.

 

Howard put out a statement saying he hasn't agreed to sign with any team.

 

Hopefully fewer than we've seen in the last two seasons (Smith and Patterson)

 

Makes sense for him to milk it IMO.

OL are always a hot commodity in UFA because every team needs at least depth.

Hopefully these work out better than the Smith/Jonnu love-fest.

In the real working world this isn't so unusual when a top guy moves to another company and drags a few friends along. In fact, one of my sons just had that happen (for a tidy 25% raise).

 

I just see he as a depth move..... if it happens

Always nice to have that C/G backup position, especially if they are going to let Spencer Anderson compete for the starting Guard position.

 

i like the driscoll move. only 28. can play multiple positions. good gameday depth.
