With the combine in the books now, quite a few players have skyrocketed in the upcoming draft... i also have a few favorites from the performances I saw....
My favorite O-lineman before and after the combine remains Vega Loane....

Vega did not test. Pregnon, did not make my impact cut, I would put him on the list of non-impact players. Nonetheless, imo, your Mock 2 is the best, by far.

Going to go with 2, also, since, with the roster the way it is as of today, we can't wait until late third round to take a WR. We don't need any more WR3 on the roster. I think the first five picks are the biggest positions of need, the next few are positions we need depth, Klubnik is a viable 6th rounder because of his ties to the team. Don't like the third cb at the end, and would rather a developmental o-line, either a tackle or center, to fill out the roster.
Tyson, even without running at the combine, proved himself a beast with the bench, and I'm sure will ace his Pro Day. More likely Lemon would be there after questionable interviews, according to reports.

I like all 5, but my issue when doing mock 2 was that I wasn't able to address OT.....
I'm hearing whispers that BroJo's neck injury may be more serious than originally thought..
I have a very strong feeling about Hurst..... this kid is gonna be special... with the uncertainty at LT and the opening at LG, along with Cam Heyward's retirement being around the corner i list my favorite mocks, in order, as
    1.
    4.
    5
    2.
    3

In most mocks and rankings there are 3 OT's available with our 215+ picks that I would take over Adams IOL, Stribling WR, and Thomas S: Enrique Cruz, Diego Pounds, and Aamil Wagner.

I like Iheanachor at #53 if available. I watched some senior bowl practices w/o knowing who was who other than just seeing some guys play on live TV during the season, and he absolutely popped off the screen for me in the 1v1’s. That said, I’m saying I like him only based on the senior bowl practices and the various videos of him on YouTube FWIW. He does look like a monster though.

Mock 1 can die in a fire lol I don't like OG in the first (all your mocks with Ioane as the first pick are likely to be somewhat disliked by me). I can get behind the shots on Clark, Davis, and Hemby on day 3. Day 2 also not my favorite either.

Mock 2 looks great to me. Big fan of Tyson and the day 2 on this mock looks excellent to me. I'd sign up for those positions/players in a heartbeat. I also like the shots on Allen and Barton on day 3. Only thing I would do differently is not take a QB at all. Not a fan of Klubnik and don't want to take another developmental QB just to take one.

Mock 3 looks really nice too. I like Woods and the day 2 haul a lot. I can say I know a lot less about your day 3 guys on this mock than the others, but overall pretty good.

Mock 4 I like everything about the first 2 days except for Boston. I like the position and the double dip, but would prefer a different player. Not particularly high on Boston. Igbinosun is interesting to me for sure.

Mock 5 is fine except you drafted OG's with your first two picks. I don't see Dunker as a Tackle at all... I think if you drafted a WR or DL or even a S with that first pick, I'd be a lot happier with the mock. Grab a WR or McDonald, Thieneman/McNeil-Warren, Lee or something like that with the first and stick with Dunker in round 2. Louis, Davis, Burks and Beck are a run of good picks IMO. You seem to be a big fan of Hurst and Orange, which is fine, just noticing a trend.

The Steelers drafting DeCastro in the first round worked out pretty good for them, if Ioane was on the board and all of the top receivers are gone why not.

Ioane is one of the few "first round grades" that may actually fall to us. Although I doubt he gets past the Ravens.

If, by any chance Loane falls to us in the 1st rd, I would jump for joy if we took him... I'm a huge believer in the saying "games are won up front".....
And yes, I do like Ted Hurst quite a bit..... he's got the size and he has elite footwork... this is one of those small school guys that will become stars in the league... His combine performance only reinforced my belief in him.. his position drills only reinforced what I saw on the field... this guy's a keeper

Because it's DeCastro or bust. There are tons of good C and G (and RB) in the 2nd-4th round. Its also a position that can be filled a lot more cheaply at a high level in FA too. At the end of the day if we draft a G and get an All-Pro... I am going to be happy. If we draft a G in the first and we get a middle of the road starter... its kind of a bust. You can get middling starters easily day 2 and early day 3. We should be focusing on a more high impact position in the first this year. Just my opinion of course.

Nice. I like Hurst some, so I would be fine if we took a shot on him. I understand wanting to build out the OL, but I just think we can wait and still get a good G. Second or third round seems like the sweet spot and I would be totally fine with that. Let them and Anderson battle it out for the starting job. I wouldn't be ecstatic if we took Ioane. Depending on who else is on the board of course... but I think Pregnon, Bisontis, or Dunker are all really nice prospects too and they would be in play in round 2. Kinda like Frazier IMO.

If we end up with Ioane in the first and he's a stud, then great. But if not it will feel pretty bad IMO. I just value other positions a lot more (for reasons I've mentioned a few times on the board). I hope we're looking at WR's, DL's, and Safeties for the first.

If Vega falls that far to Pittsburgh, I would be over the moon personally. That wraps up any major issues regarding the search for a Day One starting LG. He would slot right in and contribute immediately. He does have things to work on, namely his hand timing, but the rest is there. Only major things I worry about him is his below averagr lateral quickness and how quickly he can climb to the second level; both essential in the zone blocking scheme.

In a Division featuring quick twitch monsters like Mason Graham and Travis Jones, that isnt good. That said, if Vega can get his hands to fire off faster at the LOS, with his natural power and leverage?! Good luck.

As for the rest of the first mock (my personal favorite), Max has the talent and potential but lacks the skills. If the plan is to have Dylan Cook start out the season, that is a risky proposition imo. Unlike Max, Dylan has shown he cannot handle speed to power consistently; not good in a division featuring the likes of Myles Garrett. However, should Max hit?! You have a decade plus starter right there in a system tailored to maximize his skillset.

Biggest highlight of the First Mock is getting both Bud Clark and Tacario Davis at that value. That is quintessential highway robbery.
