No what it really is .....some of us don't want to try , and push our bad decisions off on someone else. If I'm drunk, and I need a ride because I can't drive, I know the woman that I would have nothing to do with any other time is sober, she's not taking me home to be nice. This was the report released by the local DA 16 years ago. I'm not even sure where some of that stuff is any more. That is where the claim about dragging her came from. The local investigation was clear on that point. The problem is, they didn't have a reliable witness for what happened inside the bathroom.

Roethlisberger wasn't charged because he was a high-profile person with the money to pay for strong legal representation, so they were going to make damn sure they had an ironclad case before going forward. That the victim was too drunk that night to be a reliable witness was a big part of that issue.

You falsely claimed that Roethlisberger couldn't rape someone and not leave DNA behind. That is why I brought up condoms. Funny how you insist the inconsistencies in her story must be due to her lying and not being drunk, but somehow you know Roethlisberger was too drunk to put on a condom.

I'm really not. I'm not judging the girl. I'm not judging people randomly hooking up. I'm judging a star athlete targeting a 20-year-old girl, making sure she has a steady stream of drinks, then having his boys bring this very drunk girl to him in a bathroom and then block the door.

You made a big deal out of me using the word slutty, but you are perfectly fine with him referring to women as bitches. Funny stuff.

 

Except they did. Go find the report released by the DA at the time. I didn't have to make anything up. I simply had to be interested enough in understanding what really happened to read what I could find at the time.

 

Not to derail a perfectly good rant but I thought that response was referencing Porter Sr., Ben, Harrison, Colon, Pouncey and every other retired Steeler with a podcast and bills to pay.

 

I agree with this, rape can happen many different ways and the problem for the girl is the same problem for alot of sexual assault victims, it is often their word against somebody elses and when that somebody else is a high profile person with money, there is a slim chance they come away with any justice. Often times victims dont even report it because they end up just getting dragged through the mud and come out worse off.

Plus, you're under video surveillance practically 24/7 anytime you leave your house until the time you return. So, even without a cell phone, you're tracked everywhere you go.
