I'm biased but I don't see it the Steelers got called for one of those calls on special teams leaping over the blocker IIRC. We're seeing Ravens players and fans complaining about when their DT got called for a similar play against the Steelers.

Every team gets calls in their favor or against them, it's part of the game.Of course, it's always an excuse for the losers who think the NFL is rigged.

I'm replying to the tweet, by the way.

Both of those calls were in favor of Pitt however I have seen us get our share of bad calls over the years as well. The refs just are not consistent and things like this happen.

The refs owe us a hundred favorable calls after the Jesse James screw job.

Most every team in the league can make a case that the refs have been against them. Some of the rules are just too difficult to officiate. It does make you wonder sometimes about rigging because officials have enormous power during a game. That's why I'd like to see nearly everything become challengeable. Not MORE challenges. But allow any significant call or non-call to be challenged and reviewed. There are critical points during a game that can unfairly swing momentum completely one way.

No doubt in my mind that should've been a TD by Likely, but I've seen the Steelers get screwed over their share of times as well. It's just part of the game unfortunately.

The Jesse James call with the rules in place at the time was the correct call

The rules have since been changed

Wait. What? They reviewed it and said it wasn't a TD. Now upon further review it was a TD?! Did the rule change between then and now?

And Steelers get plenty of calls that go against them. Remember the blocked FG a couple years back that was ruled offsides? Video clearly showed no offsides.

I feel like the refs should favor my team.

We had on balance a good 2025 regarding ref calls IMO. Best I can remember.

But but the NFL is rigged? I thought they told the refs to give us all the bad calls because they wanted a different outcome of the game?

    No.

Upon further review it was incomplete.

Now, upon further further review it was a TD.

We are just now waiting for further further further review to break the tie.

Hope that makes it more clear. :lolol:

Every team gets their share of bad calls for and against.

I will say this, the Steelers have been at the top or near the top of the most fined NFL team for years and years now. It's not like the team is the teacher's pet of the NFL. They've been getting slammed by the league and have even had some guys pay bigger fines, bigger suspensions, and get fined more often for similar behavior for many years now.

We won't even bring up the urine testing with Harrison and a couple other guys. The league was breaking their own rules to go out of their way to overly test Harrison and our team because they were trying to stick it the Steelers because they didn't fall in line with the rule changes they put in. The team said they didn't agree with the new rules or the way the league was ruling something a fineable play.

The NFL and the system in place for punishment has been an inconsistent disaster......and they are intentionally being inconsistent to make a point when they feel like it.

I was at that game in 2019. Game was flexed to SNF and tons of tickets became available. Decided last minute to drive from Toronto when I found a great pair at the lowest price I'd ever paid. There was an even worse call (or non-call) earlier in the game. An obvious false start on the Chargers. The players saw it and didn't get off the ball. The result was a TD. Another play just after Renegade where there was a catch , two feet, pause for move then Edmunds hammered the ball carrier and knocked it free. Called incomplete but very iffy - much like many of the other calls we've talked about.

Wild game. Keenan Allen had a monster game. He caught a TD where Haden had caught the ball, was hit by Sean Davis as everyone was coming to the ball, ball popped out and Allen had it drop into his hands like a Christmas present - it was December after all.
