Did they ever officially change the name ??
Because I remember them as Iggy Pop and the Stooges, but I can't remember if they were actually called that at anytime.

Im not sure. I want to say they did,but not positive. I feel like the first couple records were by The Stooges and subsequent records were Iggy &

The album cover alone was a killer. Certainly a wide diverse array of styles and tunes on this album. I always loved it.

I Loved it as a kid, and my uncle turned me onto it, but the last two years I've really gotten back into re-Loving it.

Funny how Fripp and Steve Howe are 2 of the most odd guys for playing the styles they do and being in the bands they are/were - if you didn't know them you'd think in a crowd they were ministers or tax auditors. Fripp still wears a vest and tie last I saw him a few years ago.

Two awesome players, I believe that they both are their own people, and their playing shows it. They don't need fads, they create fads.

Hendrix. I still marvel at what he has done, and when he did it.

Hendrix is definitely a GOAT. I’m partial to some of his solos from Woodstock as his best that I have heard, especially Hear my Train Coming and Voodoo Chile. Also, love the live version of Fire from that show.

Heard this the other day on Sirius XM, still sounded fresh and lively. Burton Cummings had some of the better chops in his days. Here's an interesting accompanying video.I dig the planetarium imagery.
