Great point!! By the way, a friendly wager, pinky wager, do you think we can score a TD on least 3 opening drives next year? I swear it seems my whole life, I would see 3-0 so many times it became nauseating.

Don't know, we shall see.
I did hear something today that was surprising to me. The Pats since Belichick to now have never scored over 3 points in the 1st Quarter in any of the SBs they were in.
I was surprised to hear this, especially with all the times they have been there.

Kubiak Offense's stem from the Shanahan tree. Shanahan Offense's do need a special type of Running Back to fully deploy their Offenses. Now, Klint is more flexible than the traditional Offense that Mike Shanahan used back in the day but many of the same core principles remain; Wide Zone Blocking on the perimeter attacking the MOF and most of all, using the run to set up the PA.

I don't think anyone on here, myself included, is stating that JSN is merely a product of the system. He could have thrived in any Offense. However, for JSN to have such a season, it takes two to tango. One is Sam Darnold and the other in the Rushing Attack. Kenneth Walker III being fully healthy allowed both Sam and JSN to rip apart defenses thanks in part to teams actively attempting to take away the Running Game.

Long story short?! JSN gets the headlines but KHIII is the engine. Without him?! Seattle likely still wins but that Defense would have to have done a bit more.

We just disagree. I think Walker had a solid year, but don't see the whole "engine" thing.
