Again. Cowher had one of the larger staffs 3 out of 15 years , and 7 out of those 15 years he had one of the smallest. I wouldn't say 3 years out of 15 makes it the norm.

Its no surprise they arent hiring some young innovative OC, Mcarthy is going to be calling the plays, so he essentially will be the OC.

Again, playcalling is only a small part of the OC's job. Most of the work occurs before Sunday so we have no idea how much input the OC will have.

Source? Because I’m not finding that. They were smaller staffs to begin with back then so you’re saying he had staffs with like 10 coaches on it? Because the norm was around 15.

Proof was looking up all the coaches, and staff Year by year since 1992. You can find this on many places. Like I said I believe it was 3 years Cowher had one of the biggest, and 7 years he had one of the smallest.

You’re saying you went through every coaching staff from 1992 to 2005 to compare to the size of Cowhers staff? Impressive.

I came across that one, too. He also talks about it on Pat McAfee’s show. Fact is, for his era Cowhers staffs werent any smaller than other teams. It would be considered small compared to today’s standards but not when he was coaching.

I dont know why it’s a point of contention anyway, McCarthy is clearly blowing that narrative out of the water. Rooney held Tomlin and Cowher back from assembling large coaching staffs but giving free rein to McCarthy. Ok.

Ya but I doubt they went out and got Angelichio for his offensive schemes. We are going to run Mcarthy's scheme and Mcarthy is calling the plays. The coordinator is most likely going to be running the practices and helping get guys up to speed on Mcarthy's scheme.

LOL, it is so easy for some of the people on this site to spend other peoples money. I bet it would be alot different
if they were spending their own.

I wonder how much net income the team makes and ARII only gets a small percentage of that

Most of the net worth is in the theoretical value of the team as a whole

That's exactly what I did, and from my research , 3 times Cowher had one of the largest staffs during that time, and 7 times , he had one of the smallest.
It's called OCD. If I get something in my mind I have to do it, or I can't stop it.

    People learn, and change.
Yeah they kept the same furniture in the coaches office since Cowher moved it, but now they are finally changing it. All facts, but I could say....... oh so they are now just changing the furniture OK. LoL.
I can't tell you the the reason why, I'm not trying to guess.
I can only tell you what has happened. I leave it to you guys to speculate.

    Lamar Jackson is likely on the back end of his athletic prime given the toll his body has taken. Unless Jackson is more cerebral in the pocket considering how detail and structure oriented Declan Doyle is, it isn't going to work. Only major reason that Doyle did work in Chicago was that Caleb has a Top 1% overall arm that Lamar simply lacks. Add in Caleb's reckless abandon playing out of structure and one can see that Caleb is more creative than Lamar is. That isn't to say that Caleb's 2025 Season was magical as many would believe;

Overall?! Coincidentally enough, Baltimore believes that Lamar has the same level of arm capability as Caleb. The problem is that such a belief cannot be any further from the truth. Unless Derrick Henry can defeat Father Time again, Baltimore may be in for a rude awakening.
