2026 Coaching Interview/Hiring Tracker

I think being understaffed is a hinderance. There are only so many hours in the week. Steelers routinely had the smallest staff in the league. 2025 they had 19.

Patriots have 22 and Seattle is believed to have around 24-26.

No harm comes from having more people to handle the workload but being understaffed can hurt.

 

No official word but have seen several mentions that he is the OC.

Everyone has a different idea on who the &C coach will be.

 

That sucks, I was excited for that hire even know I have wanted Scheelhaase.

 

Brian Angelichio Vikes passing game coordinator/TE coach will interview for the job now. Lunda Wells still in the mix.

Angelichio has been learning under O'Connell so thats intriguing. Last year excluded, Vikes had an explosive passing attack.

Not many teams have them as far as I'm aware. It's not really a coaching position at all. More like a logistics manager or executive assistant type role.

In his roles in Atlanta and New York, he was responsible for coordinating the team's daily meetings and practice schedules and the overall football activities calendar. In addition, he established the budget for football operations and scheduling practices and organized team and staff events and provided administrative assistance to the coaching and operations staff.
