Gonna try the legendary Primanti Sandwich while I am at it.

 

From personal experience long ago I found they tasted best at 3am Thursday Night/Friday Morning after the Luna Bar closed for the evening

 

Hmm... gonna have to remember this.

 

Unfortunately they now close at midnight. They went commercial and changed a lot.

When I was going there they only opened at 3am. It was a restaurant for truck drivers coming and going to the freight produce warehouses. That was 50 years ago.

If I remember Chubs was the guy on the left who waited on tables and Fats was the guy on the right who worked the bar. The guy in the middle was the cook.

This thread led me to plant a seed with a couple of my football friends up in NJ.

Side note: He's a Patriots fan, his wife is a Dolphins fan. Imagine that house on Sundays during the season.

I am almost certainly going

 

I too am old enough to have enjoyed late night carousing and to go to Primanti's in the strip district.
For non locals the Strip District is where fruit and produce came into the city from California and other locations.
Large area of trucking and rail freight. I had multiple friends that worked as Lumpers hired by truck drivers to help
Truckers unload this freight. Give me an Iron City. LOL

 

My current vehicle has a speedometer that goes to 160

I’ve seldom gotten it over 100

Many years ago I got a ticket for tripling the speed limit 4 lane divided highway late at night

But I don't get people that like watching the draft (or even worse, the combine).
