Stetson Bennett was a good short QB in the SEC how is he doing in the NFL.

differet person. bennett was never in the Heisman running either. plus mental health issues. pavia also did it on a team not loaded with near as much talent.

We agree to disagree; I would rather take a chance on Allar in the mid rounds.

Can I play the middle on this one and have the opinion that both Pavia and Allar suck? Lol

Not interested at all in Pavia, and think Allar is going to be massively overdrafted. If we aren't pulling the trigger on a round 1 QB, I have less desire to draft one at all (outside of MAYBE a shot on Chambliss in round 2, as I think that is a "swing for the fences" type move). I'd rather just see Rodgers or Howard and be done with it until 2027.

I still think they go after nussmeier. There are a few that could workout. I'm just saying if Davia was still there late in the draft, I wouldn't be opposed to them taking him.

Unless the Steelers think a QB in the 2026 class is a real franchise guy, I don’t see why they’d draft one. The remaining guys don’t look clearly better than Howard, and you already know what you’re getting with Rudolph. Using high picks on a small QB upgrade just doesn’t make much sense, unless it's a late round camp arm.

I’m not advocating for Ty Simpson here, but this video popped up at the top of YouTube for me the other day. Check out the play that Daniels breaks down over a couple of minutes starting a little after the 9 1/2 minute mark. You rarely see processing and quick foot repositioning in the pocket like that in college QBs. Oh, and he took the snap from under center as well which is a nice bonus for a guy to already be able to that. I have yet to watch a lot of film on Simpson other than parts of games on live TV and most of the snaps in their 2 CFP games.

Since they have three third round picks and McCarthy is supposed to be good with QBs, I would take a flyer on Allar in the third if he was available. I agree with you about Pavia I have no interest in him at all.
