In a heart beat. Hell, I’d probably trade him for the talented knucklehead Pickens to come back. TJ Watt isn’t even half the player he was before signing that big contract.

the only reason i was even considering this is the pokes are thinking of re-signing pickens i've heard and they need defensive pass rush help after getting rid of their guy to green bay. they also have 2 picks in the first round this year. both before we pick our first.

McCarthy coached him in Dallas. Praised him as a "Players Coach".

Both Watt and his contract are similar in payout with Watt making a bit more.

I would explore it but would Watt want to go to Dallas?

There have been rumors or click bait (Jeh's favorite line) that a trade of Herbig going to Dallas. That would be dumb. Although he is going into his last season of a 4 year deal and will get a nice fat raise. he is only 24.

Lamb and DK. Don't threaten me with a good time! Still need to add a receiver high in the draft.

that depends on the new kid which is a big body, fast and can do it from the slot with that size. who knows though, he was good in college. then we may have to see what they can get out of wilson as well. it may go smoother with this group of coaches. herbig is interesting depending how they want to use that position. against the run he is so so. he's better from highsmiths side. sawyer is probably a better fit with this new DC. he can play the run. waiting to see this saga form. it will be interesting for sure.

Definitely! I would even consider giving our last 3rd round pick with Watt. That would open up our offence overnight and it would allow them to use their first 3 picks on line, corner, safety etc. I've enjoyed TJ but it appears he has hit the wall.

    Don't hate it.

But don't know the cap implications. Which could easily destroy a deal like this between two highly paid players. Watt's so early in his contract that trading him is probably painful (though not nearly as bad as cutting him would be).

I have no idea what Lamb's contract situation is.

Of course, this would never ever happen in real life.

Hell yes for me. We need a serious upgrade at WR. And Watt is past his prime. But I can't fathom why Dallas would want to do that.

It's a no for me. I think we are very thin at edge as it is. We have DK and Wilson at WR. We have 12 picks in the draft. We can get a receiver or more in the draft to boost the receiver room. We need TJs presence at EDGE in addition to adding to that room.

getting rid of TJ might be a mistake- let's see how new D.C. uses him first. Everything will be new or at least it better be.Dont want the same old :poopy: everything must change..

    A quite expensive wall.

Hell to the NO! His playoff meltdowns is not what's needed, he is scared of the moment. Another regular season wonder.

i do think maybe we are looking at moving the other side and extending herbig. the cowpokes are looking at herbig. he wants out unless he's the starter. he is better from the right side. maybe we move highsmith instead of watt. we could draft a 4th OLB.
