yeah that one was rough. I honestly don't think we can draft an OL until we've added 2 new WR's (either by FA or by draft). Until 2 new WR's are had, OL shouldn't even be a thought.

I wouldn't hate Chambliss in the second, but we don't need a 3rd round TE in there either lol There's a some DB help in there, which we need... but idk. I kinda hate everything about this one.

I joined this site recently but have been reading on here since the early days. There are many people on here I trust for draft info way before any of these mock drafts. Except for very few on tv and Internet who do serious research, most of these mock drafts read like some 18 year old in their parents basement. Sometimes I'll read the Internet mocks just for the humor.

Exactly. And at this time of year mocks are pointless.
Not every eligible college prospect has declared for the draft that will.
Teams typically build through FA and trades before entering the draft.
Current team 'needs' vs BPA will changea half dozen times or more before the draft even gets here.
These mocks are for amusement purposes only.

Let's just look at the starters:

CB: Porter, Trice, Echols - I am okay with this. Depth is needed.
S: Ramsey, Elliot - This is okay. Depth is needed
LB: Queen, Wilson, Harrison, Bruener - Only Queen can stay. Need 1 starter and 1 depth.
    DL
: Hayward, Harmon, Benton, Lee, Black, - Hayward and Harmon only. The rest need upgrade. Need 1 more rotational starter.
    EDGE
: Watt, Highsmith, Herbig, Sawyer. Only Watt is the starter. Need 1 more starter. (What is happening with KJ Henry?)
OC: Frazier - Not good enough but fine for now. Depth is needed.
OG: McCormick, move Fautanu to RG. This is fine. Depth is needed.
LT: Cook is fine for now with Thompson as backup. Could acquire a left tackle in the draft.
RT: Jones, Nester. This is fine for now. Need depth.
TE: Freiermuth, Washington, Smith. This is fine for now.
RB: Warren, Johnson. Need 1 more starting caliber back.
    WR:
Metcalf, Wilson. Need 2 more starting WRs.

By the numbers, the highest priority needs are:
    1. WRs (Draft: Denzel Boston, Josh Cameron)

    3. EDGE (Draft: Marvin Jones Jr)

    2. S for injuries (Draft: Xavier Scott)
    3. LT to start (Draft: Demtrious Crownover)
    4. RT to start

I’m not as high on our O line as many, but given the flashes of good play we’ve seen, and the pedigree of many of our recent draft picks on the line, I still think Meyer was the #1 issue. A quality O line coach may help a lot. At bare minimum we need a day 1 starting LG via free agency or the draft.

I think this group could become good with a good coach and a new guard. I don't think we need 4 rookies though.
