I can't imagine that it will. I get that they lost, but the Seahawks are really good at home and it was a road championship game. If he's smart its Bills or back to the Rams. I cant see any of the remaining jobs being worth his time. The Rams will be contenders again next year.

That’s why Im thinking he goes back to the Rams. They will be in the hunt again next year. Wait for a better landing spot.

Klint Kubiak should get a HC offer for that final drive alone. Master class

Well....that was an interesting championship weekend....

Shula's defense looked less than revolutionary. Seemed that JSN was simply physically more talented than anyone the Rams could put on him. But how to explain all the missed tackles up front in the run game....I thought only Mike Tomlin coached his team to do that...

His defense was a lot better than Tomlin's despite having some of the least amount of money spent on it. At $48 million bucks, you're not going to have a top 5 defense no matter what you do schematically. Plus... we wouldn't have been hiring him to be the DC. He would've been the HC, responsible for a lot more than just updating the defense schematically and calling some plays. Brian Flores' defense was considered top 5 and it gave up 13 less points than Shula's did (and turned the opposition over less). Essentially, who cares if a really good offensive team scored 30 on them in a home playoff game. If the Rams score a TD in the red zone instead of turning it over on downs, that game at least goes to OT. They played well enough to win that game.

Sir, I believe you have not met the Steelers internet evaluation standard previously.

Any Steelers defense should only ever allow a hundred total yards or less. Hold the other team to 10 points or less. Preferably negative points. Using that standard on the Rams last night, everyone should be fired, cut, or traded.

    I get it lol

All I am saying is that people need to be honest in evaluations. The Rams spend money to score a ton of points. They can't have the top offense AND top defense. Their team is built to score points and get just enough defense (or a few turnovers) from their defense to win the game. Sitting there and asking $48 million bucks of payroll to go out and dominate a really good team on their home field in the NFCCG is wild. Absolutely ridiculous lmao Anyone claiming that Shula sucks because his defense didn't win them the game shouldn't be taken seriously
